It's actually quite possible for Sasuke to walk on water. During his training for the Chidori, who's to say that Kakashi never taught Sasuke. Naruto needed to learn to control his chakra for the rensagen, chidori could very well be the same.

Just because kishimoto never drew it on the manga doesn't mean that they can't do it. Water and tree walking are supposed to be basic. Kakashi wouldn't send Naruto to Ebusi (Is that his name?) if Naruto already knew how to control his chakra.

Yes i know about the seal Oro gave Naruto blah blah blah. Just accept it and move on. Sasuke will eventually have to learn to walk on water, regardless of him doing so now. Why bother to waste ink just to show sasuke in one panel learn to walk on water?

Um, Kishimoto did draw it in the manga. That's the point. Sasuke is sprinting across the water when he first tries to Chidori Naruto, without the curse seal or anything. Walking on water is one of the basics of chakra control, and since Sasuke hasn't really improved in the manga since he learned Chidori, it's safe to assume that he knows how to walk on water at this point in the anime. They just decided not to put it in.

I agree with Zek, it really wasn't even necessary to show Sasuke learning how to walk on water, considering nothing relevant could have happened from it as in when Naruto did it and then that lead into Jiraiya messing with his seal and teaching him how to use kyuubi's chakra.

Even if they did show it, the script would have been something like this:

Kakashi: "Now try molding chakra into your feet, and then continue releasing chakra, blah, blah... now try it"

Sasuke: "Alright, here I go."

Kakashi: "Nice job, your doing it."

That scene would have taken an entire manga chapter and everyone would have been pissed because that information was not necessary.

If you learn how to climb a tree with just your feet, you can definitely walk on water.
Although not in narutos case because he got the kyuubi sealed.
That's the only reason..

Well in theory it true...the meaning of that exercise wath Chakra control and concentration..something NAruto was (and sot of still is) a mess at...maybe for Sasuke or Sakura it shuould been easy ( a couple of tries and its done),
its maybe easy after you learned climbing the tree ...

with the case of naruto...it wasnt because of Kyubi been sealed that he wasnt able to walk at first tries...it was because the uneven Seal ORochimaru put on him...right after it was unsealed...he did it with no prob.

Jesus, did you even read the post before yours? Naruto didn't have any trouble walking on water at all after Jiraiya undid his seal. It was pretty obvious that the only reason he couldn't walk on water well right away was because of that seal. Sasuke had no seal, so it would've been infinitely easier for him to learn it.

Hell, we'll never even know if Naruto could have gotten water walking right away. He probably could've, but the seal was interferring.
