For Anime-only Watchers, such issues may pass them by more times than not, since it has more to do with how producers adapt a source material to Anime.

Well, that is, my idea of a 'pacing issue' is five minutes being stretched over 7 20 minute episodes.
In my opinion, the only episode that really had pacing issues was episode 11, and pacing was frankly the least of its issues.

And not all pacing issues take place on Namek. Sometimes squeezing too much into an episode or two can be just as bad, if you remember the Antimagic Academy anime last year...

If the pacing of the movie is the same then it should be close to 2 hours.
The only problematic episode was 11, because of how rushed and badly animated it was. Everything else in season was perfect. Sure they cut some scenes here and there but nothing significant and I am even surprised at how well they managed to make that pacing work overall.

I don't really get the 'badly animated' part either. I tend to get immersed so I tend to not notice things unless specifcally pointed out. And even then I'm like, you are able to tell what's happening, right?

There are those who are quite picky about animation quality besides story immersion.
Some people may even give higher priority into analising the quality rather than the story itself.

There wasn't any real huge issues. 11 stood out the most with how it was directed too, but the rest was quite good.

As anime only watcher, yeah don't think there was any issues at all with the pacing either. The only biggest problem is all of their talks between the fights (like everything just stop for them to finish the conversation), but that can't be avoided.

Pretty epic ending for an anime. I will say the chaotic level was like 'the battle of 5 armies' where new enemies and new allies being introduced left and right. But in positive sense. And the uses of music was excellent.

The drawn out SoL of 2nd half of ep 12 kinda ruined the epic mood through. But I guess it's understandable because it needs to set up the materials for the movie.

Not interest in the original F/SN franchises (only watch the 2003 anime). So basically Miyu-universe was just another alternative universe of the original F/SN right? But Shiro has a younger sister in Miyu, already master/know his UBW technique, and probably failed to rescue Sakuya from her abusive family (led to her being broken). Roughly something like that, right?

All of that is answered in the movie, so it'd be spoilers to answer it in this thread.

Probably will pass on the movie to be honest. No point of watching a Prisma☆Illya movie when Illiya herself won't even present.

Expect it gonna be just full of fan services (not the panty shot one) for the fan of the F/SN franchise rather than the fans of the Prisma☆Illya series. Oh well, whatever they can do to earn enough money for the a season 5

To each their own, I've seen some people who absolutely adore the flashback arc because it has nothing to do with Illya.

Most like the flashback arc because it's a good story and it's world-building porn. And because it bodes good things for the eventual backstory and resolution we'll get once we get back to Illya's side. This is the bad thing about being too hung up on certain characters, is that you myopically miss out on the good things that happen that don't involve them.

Depends on how you look at it. Isn't Miyu one of "the Illyas"?

This isn't my opinion about it. I mean the people I saw LITERALLY said that. I enjoyed the flashback personally, just as I enjoy regular times with Illya and crew. I just felt risingstar's comment about wanting to get back to Illya ironic as I had seen the opposite opinion from a few other people.

I was talking about Illya allegedly not appearing in a show named Prisma Illya, so I just argued that the three girls are often collectively referred to as "Illyas".

episode 1:

I like the opening song for this season.

Illya tell friends that they are doing "that thing". lol

However, the fun soon ends.. Illya find herself in another world, she's wearing summer clothes in winter, and her waif Miyu is taken away! Good thing she found a person with warm body.

episode 2:

some more talk with the mysterious girl Tanaka -san.

Illya almost got forced to eat hot mapo, and then almost cooked by Kotomine for not being able to pay. Gil-kun save her just in time. He also provide Illya with warm cloth. King of heroes is generous.

episode 3:

this episode is intense

so the swords that Angelica shoot cannot hurt Gil, because he just absorbs them with his own gate. Gil can also grab swords from Angelica's gate with Enkidu. Angelica firing that giant sword is badass, isn't that the same giant sword that dark Gil used the previous season? Anyway, Gil is winning.. but Angelica brings out cards that balance the fight again.

Tanaka tortured by Beatrice.

feels like a deus ex machina when Illya conveniently found Ruby there.

Caster Illya is sexy.

they lost the invisibility cloth. Get chased by Beatrice and Angelica. Why does Gil not use Ea? He does not have it?

anyway, nice to see everyone going to be reunited again.

episode 4:

Gil-kun also has gold coin from Gate of Babylon? That large coin looks like it's worth more than 55,000 yen.

Illya cannot eat anymore of Kotomine mapo. lol

and lastly, we are treated to some Chloe x Saber Illya porn. Good stuff.

episode 5:

luxurious bath from Gate of Babylon. How convenient.

Tanaka looks like she's indestructible.

Illya likes being called oneechan.

Only thing I did not like is the writer has showed off their piss fetish.. seriously.. there should be a limit to jokes.
