Does anyone else feel like they're lacking appendages when using a gamepad to play the game? Specifically the right hand controls.

Using an 'xbox' controller as reference

Thumb: Right joystick, Y, X, B, A
Index Finger: Right button/trigger


I'm having the issue where my reaction speed isn't fast enough to transition my thumb between the joystick and relevant button (Y,X,B,A).


Using keyboard/mouse controls there is absolutely no issue (mouse = right joystick and weapon swings) countering grabs/guard breaks, however trying to do this on the game pad results on failure more often than not.




At this stage I'm honestly wondering if I would be better off using a 'claw' like configuration

• Thumb = rJoystick
• Index = Y, X, B, A
• Middle = Right Button/Trigger

The "storymode" ended in what could possibly be the most anti-climatic way possible :'(

Pro tip- switch the guardbreak input to one of the shoulder buttons.

I'm on PS4 so I switch square -> L1

This would vastly improve your guardbreak counters.
