More likely those who do martial arts don't show their tail. You know, getting someone grab your tail is like getting kicked on the groin. One weakspot is more than enough.

The female warriors had no issue with keeping their tails out. It was still just the males who kept them under their clothes.

Well lets look who the female warriors where: Touka whose tail is more like feathers and rather short if I remembr that right and Karuha whose tail is apparently less sensitive (sam goes vor Kuon's) at least kuon didn't show remotely the same reaction Eruru showed.
Then we also had the 2 Angels who didn't have a tail at all - and Aruru was really just piloting her tiger.

An observation btw: Anyone else saw that Oda Clan crest on Ukon's back ?

Exactly. And yet in the first season, based on the original H-game, you have hardly any nude scenes or even scantily-clad women, and the few cases there are have an explained purpose behind them. This new season, based on an All-age game, is shaping up to be quite heavy-laden with the service. Absolutely no reason is given for the fanservice, it's just thrown in for the heck of it.

you probably want to re-watch 1st season because that is not what happen. A explanation was given in the Eps for the last arc.
I recently watched it, and while you don't have a firmly defined relationship so early, it is clear almost from the first time she looks at him that she's completely smitten. She looks down and blushes around him, loses track of time gazing at him, responds happily to every compliment he gives (even when he compliments her strength right after she slapped him for the tail-grope, she smiles and blushes before catching herself and reprimanding him for the act). She even gets this happily embarrassed look on her face while explaining that she's not in a relationship with him, a look that I've rarely seen in association with a "he's not my boyfriend" retort. She's portrayed as being very, VERY interested in him from the get-go even though she hasn't known him for more than 24-48 hours. Kuon, on the other hand, despite showing a definite physical interest in him, shows no evidence of having any actual romantic feelings for him.

Man, an entire episode of talking, but not much was really said aside from the reveal at the end of the episode.

I really want to like this show just as much if not more than the first, but the pacing is so terrible that it's very difficult.

That being said, I really like Kuon. Her personality is the best.

Poor Kuon... She certainly hasn't fully recovered. Not once did she peep or suggest to peep on the other side of the bath...

A decent episode even if not much happened, the princess BL vision is quite scary ^^;

Nice reveal on the end and beautiful fanservice. I don't mind occasional BL desilusion, girls deserve their part of service too

Actually the VN outright states their gender.

This show is quite light hearted next to the original Utawarerumono.

With the epilogue of this episode I'm sure it will soon change. Personally I like the light hearted-ness.

I'd rather it be lighthearted instead of war-drama. More than enough innocent people suffered and died in the first series. Let there be peace.

I do not dislike it either. I am enjoying Kuon antics more than I should.
