For those who don't know yet, a 90 min. Maison Ikkoku special live action drama was aired in Japan some months ago. Misaki Itou (Hermes in Densha Otoko TV series) plays the role of Kyoko. Nana Eikura (a very cute japanese actress I didn't know) is Nanao Kozue.
Only part of the original story is told in this special, but there seem to be no continuation. A real pity

After watching this special I think it is quite funny and the roles are very faithful to the original characters.

BTW I'm not sure if it has been fansubbed in English but there's a Spanish fansub.
