First episode is up on Crunchyroll.

Finally, glad to see the boys are back again.

Nine Blu-ray volumes are available for preorder, and the last one goes up to episode 52. Still, it wouldn't surprise me if this got extended like the first season was, as long as there's enough source material for it.

No, I swear it will be awesome this time. You will get to see Furuya in all his glory.

Oh, nvm, I meant Sawamura. Yup, that guy.

Has any series ever needed a recap less than Diamond no Ace?

“Eijun gets totally screwed over by Kataoka.” There - done.

If I recalled correctly, at least Kataoka gives Eijun a chance. Ochiai on the hand, absolutely and unequivocally tossed Eijun aside as trash.

While Diamond no Ace Act II has Eijun giving Kataoka a metaphorical slap-in-the-face.

Another episode of "Sawamura never gets to pitch" . Get to see the continued rise of Furuya who might as well be the main character at this point.

At least Ochiai is consistent with his "forget you have other pitchers" strategy. Not sure why he's so obsessed with running the starter into the ground when their team does have more than one good pitcher.

Yeah, it does get quite annoying when the MC is relegated to a background character making background noises. One of the biggest problems with Cardfight Vanguard is that the MC sucked and kept losing for years on end. It gets tiring to watch.

Except here the MC is good and does well but the coaches are such DBs that they constantly screw him over.
