Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who is almost human again after briefly becoming a vampire. One day, a classmate named Hitagi Senjougahara, who infamously never talks to anyone, falls down the stairs into Koyomi's arms. He discovers that Hitagi weighs next to nothing, in defiance of physics. Despite being threatened by her, Koyomi offers his help, and introduces her to Meme Oshino, a middle-aged homeless man who helped him stop being a vampire.

Although this is adapting an older and already-adapted work, please try to ensure comparisons to other mediums are kept behind spoiler tags.

Considering that both chapters are 70 pages long I have a feeling they are pre-drawn.

I've only read bits and pieces but it's very different. It's pretty much a complete re-imagining. The Tsubasa Cat arc for example incorporates elements from

Tsubasa Tiger and Shinobu Mail. Tsubasa even becomes a vampire as a result of Araragi healing her with his blood in the Kizumonogatari arc. Shinobu even tells her that if she thinks she can't win against Hitagi, all she has to do is wait 70 years or so and Araragi will be hers, since Hitagi will have died by then.

It's a really wild ride. Probably worth it for Oh!Great's art alone. It's not limited to Bake, it covers plenty of later arcs.
