Wait, a new series and Toujo is still in love with a useless loser MC?! If true then I'll pass. A big pass. Following the original manga was already a torture with Manaka. No way I'm gonna go through that again with another ugly loser MC who miraculously attracted all the gorgeous girls for dumb reasons.

Before opening this I've been asking myself, do I really believe in second chances? I mean i loved the first one. I loved it right up to the last couple of chapters. However, after being horribly disappointed with the ending i just don't know if i can walk back into this again.
Ok, after the overly dramatic self reflection I'm all in i guess. Well, I'll wait about 10 chapters in to read it and see how it goes. I'll probably love it up to the last chapter again but what's life without risk. I mean surely the author/artist wouldn't do something crazy like have the MC walk away from the girls for several years to become a camera man and come back to finally decide to date one of them seriously out of the blue or anything like that.

I just realized something Higashi 100% is Aya story which mean she is the main lead, making this series being harem again will obsolete the manga main purpose. To cure broken-hearted Aya, there are no need for another waifu war in story to cure a broken-hearted heroine.
There are one things to say here: this manga most likely will be Otome/ reverse harem where Aya instead will encircled by hot guys who will be her end boy replacing Manaka. Nakama probably one of guy first appear here then another guys will appear again. If true then that is interesting but i don't think i can stand the fujobait |

wtf is this for real? I was mainly disappointed with the last 2 works that I read from that author but a sequel to a good long running manga? please no. don't ruin a story that is already completed just to give an annoying stupid manaka? or protag clone to end with aya. aya had become a strong woman in the end of the story and I'm fine with that ending. i don't want it ruin.

Not really. The last chapter of the original manga makes it clear she was still pining for Manaka. This is a good chance to let her get over it. It's a bit of a bummer the guy's kind of a Manaka clone, but maybe Aya will start seeing him as his own person soon.
In any case, I'm glad this spin-off is being published. Aya deserves some closure if nothing else. EDIT: On the other hand, I just realized this story seems to take place before the last chapter, so maybe it won't resolve anything.

TBH it was a let down. Was expecting better.
If Kawashita wanted to hook Aya up with another guy for her happy ending, she should have used Amachi rather than a guy who is a clone of Manaka. Hopefully the story gets better from here.
