FAQs:
- Ern is a girly boy, but he's no pushover.
- The story focuses a LOT on mecha R&D. Lots of techno jargon in the source LNs.
- There's a good amount of mecha fights.
- No harem or romance, focus is mainly on mech battles and R&D. Ern's mechasexualness blinds him to romance. There's 1 girl character who's closest to a romantic interest.

You don't ask things like that
If a fundamental component is missing from a story, it's most likely because author don't want or can't write about that in the first place

Like if something has no comedy and people tell author to put one in, it won't happen, even if it does it won't be "funny"

Just like romance will never appear in Death March or Wordmaster

Ah I see.
I thought it was ok to ask authors questions like this, especially if its suggestions to improve their writing.
Like you said one time you and some others spoke to World Teacher's author that he needed to put actual worldbuilding to improve the story, but he said he couldn't be bothered to do so.
I'm ok with no romance, just curious if its due to author limitations.

Chapter 18 is out.
I like how Eru's idea for his knight is actually an anime mech with shoulder cannons.

Existing hardware can't keep up with Eru's crystal tissue improvements so soon.
Gear suit prototypes still too difficult to operate for those without good physical boost and magic script control, and stuffy in long run.

The manga designs for Eru's mom, grandpa and Boss David made it into the anime, but others, like Batson, Stefania and Eru's dad are completely different.

Maybe it's me, but the design for Eru's dad makes him look like a German spy villian from shows like Joker Game, or the subboss Wonder Woman must defeat before she can fight Gen. Ludendorff.

His father looks like a typical stuck-up noble who's only there to get in the MC's way and show the superiority of nobles, while his mother comes off as a scheming villainess at some angles and expressions .

^ And they have a mad genius as an heir; in another work they could be the villians the MC needs to defeat.
Now I'm interested to see how villian-like the actual villians of this series will look like.

On a side note, I'm interested to see if the anime will try give Stefania more appearances. I rebrowsed the LNs and I noticed she got written out after Vol 1.
