Episode 1:
I'm not impressed by the first episode, a lot of generic stuff that I had expected but the characters aren't interesting at all. I'll give it more episodes but not impressed in particular with the storytelling and Hayato so far. Action is somewhat decent though. Emilie is both fun and annoying to watch the same time to me for some reason.

It was alright. Pretty generic first episode for this kind of show. Hayato kind of falls into the middle between an aggressive main character and a total pushover. So...kind of a pushover but will hold his ground when given time.
I find it more silly why they are pretending Emile is a guy....I mean come on how is anyone buying this in the series? Plus....why? So important to be Hayato's roommate that she is faking her gender? Talk about being sped into the classic duel with a fairly strong female character right out of gate. Although Hayato's chances are a lot lower than the average protagonist since he hasn't even secretly been training with a Hundred. He literally just got this yesterday.

Oh my god, this can't be real, the amount of generic stuff and cliché characters is stupid. I know quite a bit about the LN and I know how this is nothing new or impressive but seriously watching this animated is even more painfully than reading it.
Now moving to another topic, the animation was quite decent, same goes for the VA's. OP and ED are pretty average for my taste, nothing outstanding or amazing. I know that I have a pretty mean attitude toward these kind of copy-paste stories but even Asterisk is better than this on every way. I'll keep watching this just for the girls because everything else is pretty forgettable. |

Well, Hundred has better characters compared to Asterisk's and I read my fair share of series books.
Not a bad start. Animation was good enough, hope it stays that way 8/10. VA were good 8/10. Same formula but with different dynamics. For once the crosdresser is the main heroine soo the comparisons to girls like Charlotte wouldn't be far-fetched 7/10. @FlareKnight Unless you just speed watched the episode or just the raws, it was obvious that some know about Emile but pretend to not know for her sake. |

I'm more with Wade Wilson on this one. The first episode for Asterisk was definitely better than this. Neither one are exactly busting the mould of this genre, but this felt more generic.

Yeah, fairly typical, but could be good and an easy watch. I don't know about "everyone" or even "anyone", but how could Hayato himself get so many glomps, and see that inside his room, and not realize? One look at that towel and that flowing hair (not to mention those panties) and it's blatantly obvious that this person is not a dude. So how then can he immediately afterward complain about resting on a "boy's" lap? I think this guy needs some of those spiral glasses, because he's clearly all but legally blind.

This was pretty much what I expected from the first episode. Emile's secret is pretty obvious and I have to wonder if she is really even trying. Hayato should at least suspect that something is up.
Claire already comes off as being unlikable. I'm sure more will be revealed, but she's off to a bad start for me.
