The purpose of this thread is to provide a place to discuss all things Aircraft Carriers related.

As a reminder, here is a list of the standard carriers and light carriers who made at least a cameo in the anime:

6 Standard Carriers:
-Akagi-class Aircraft Carrier, Akagi
-Kaga-class Aircraft Carrier, Kaga
-Hiryuu-class Aircraft Carrier, Hiryuu
-Souryuu-class Aircraft Carrier, Souryuu
-Shoukaku-class Aircraft Carrier, Shoukaku
-Shoukaku-class Aircraft Carrier, Zuikaku

1 Light Carrier:
-Houshou-class Light Carrier, Houshou

To keep the discussion enjoyable for all Kancolle fans, please follow the guidelines below and stay on-topic!

Note: Please don't use this for the specifics (i.e. episode, chapter, game, etc. discussion) there are other threads for that stuff.

Thread Guidelines

No campaigning!

Unryuu is best Ryuu.

I'm holding out for her appearance in the anime, but I think it's likely to be a lost cause.

Unryuu definitely not appearing in the anime sadly.

I am glad at least 1 CVL appeared in the anime... I thought there would be none...

Where is our RJ still :/

Doing Ryuujou might be too much for Mitsuki's voice actress in order. She is all the Mitsuki-class destroyers and Ryuujou.

You mean Mutsuki-class XD;

I don't mean RJ to actually have a voice, I at least want a cameo... Wish Zuihou also appeared but guess not...

RJ has too great a pressure for cameos imho =3. If she shows up, it would at least have to be one with a speaking role =3

It would be nice if taihou made an appearance in the show. The other 6 carriers are.
The lack of cvls kind of bother me though.

Also, I wonder when they will add shinano to the game.

Here is a question: Why does Ryuujou use Kansai-ben and tend to be used in tsukkomi?

I guess we know why there is no RJ. The "Flightdeck Chest" jokes in anime are all for Zuikaku.

One of Ryuujou's captains was an Osaka native, apparently.

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.
