Frankly speaking, I have no idea what happened this episode... What happened to Montero...?

Why the sudden arrest(?)...?

They sent the Montero out on autopilot and it was blown up (by the support platform pilots, who are apparently better at this whole combat thing than Mask is).

As for arrest, if you're talking about what happened at the end I think it's unclear as yet what that was and why they wanted the kids.

What's so confusing? It's the typical weirdness. But the plot is easy. They decided to go to the Capital Territory to talk with the pope... Then got attacked by Capital Army along the way. Then the Capital Guard, who are under the jurisdiction of Bellri's mom, got the Megafauna hidden away. And they got to talk with the space pope (who we know is a shady fellow himself). As for what is going to happen to Bellri and Aida... We'll see. Seems like the Capital Army got word of them being there.

Anyway, seems like the theory that Bellri and Aida being siblings is still alive and well with the revelation that Bellri was adopted.

The episode was okay, the scenery was well done though.

Well that was a nice little revelation about Bell. I hope we find out even more about his character soon. As regarding the action from the latest episode, it was alright I suppose but nothing earth shattering.

Well certainly adds to the mystery of him being able to pilot that thing.

At least Aida wasn't a total negative in the fight out there, though damn she really isn't very good. RIP Montero. Get owned because they send you out there on auto-pilot.

The whole situation on Earth seems pretty uneasy. These people so dependent on these photon batteries that they can't make and are rigged to explode when tampered with. It's like humanity is being kept in a zoo.

Was wondering near the end there if they realized Bell had actually killed that instructor. But I guess not.

Well that rumor about Bell being adopted only makes his origins more mysterious. Does leave the possibility that he might be related to Aida or have some sort of relationship with her.

It's sort of funny how the Montero did better against a named character unmaned than when Klim Nick is piloting it

Also how exactly does that whole they have to be touching in order to communicate thing work? Because I could have sworn Belri was talking to his other mentor just fine.

I'll miss that Montero... Good thing Klim Nick is not piloting that MS.

Meanwhile, I wonder if Bellri and Aida's arrest is something to do with the Capital Army's sudden appearance. Maybe it's just me...

Personally, if Earth is being threatened by Spacenoids from the Moon, should the Capital and Ameria work together instead of fighting each other? I'm sure the Pope and Colonel Cumpa are aware of that threat, but it seems that they have other agendas.

Crumpa's reference to earthnoids being another thing that should be extinct makes me wonder if he's from space.

I didn't realize Gundam could be a comedy. I mean, every time they start with Rose of Hermes Blueprints, they get cut off one way or another. It happened in previous episodes, this time they mentioned it three times, then the final time Cumpa says "such mystique, much wow, KNOCK IT OFF ALREADY!!" So funny.

Then of course the moments with Bellri's (step)mom getting sick and cursing the existence of spaceships, and Cumpa's rage over work-free weekends, hahaha.

Well there have been other comedy like Gundamns in the past. I like it. But once again I was confused about how some scenes were cut. E.g. there is no delay between the scenes when there is time skips. Usually there is either long black pause or something like that. But this series things just jumps to new section and leaves audience to figure out what happened.

That bit with Cumpa on the phone was good. Shame no one told him of how the weekends work there.

Well, at least it's funnier than Gundam ZZ.

Still, the plot is a mess with the only threat right now is the Capital Army.

Is the Capital Army a threat or more of a joke like Mashymre Cello and the Endra was? I'd think the space people they keep talking about are much more of a threat.

Likely I'd say.

I think I know why there is a tech taboo. Spacenoids are threatened by Earthers. Photon batteries are a form of economic control. Capital Territory serves as their proxy.

Amerians don't. see it that way. They want free energy. They haven't connected the Spacenoids and the battery source yet.

As the pope has pointed out batteries don't come from nowhere.

There seems to be an agreement between CT and the Spacenoids for Earth and the colonies to leave each other alone. With Amerians being so gungho about it is going to ruin that stability.

Yeah, it seems that Space and Earth have severed all contact with each other, and only a select few are permitted to traverse between space and Earth (e.g. Pope, Colonel Cumpa).

I haven't been keeping close tabs to the series, but it seems like G-Self was manufactured in space? If that's the case then I wonder what the Spacenoids are trying to achieve by sending the Gundam to Earth? Sow discord between the old warring nations on Earth so they can conquer Earth or something?

I think the spacenoids are using the earthlings for something, I mean they ship the valuable photon batteries to take care of their needs, they have a religion that forbids technology development so they can't defend themselves. Then you got Bell and Aida which only the Gself responds to, we find out Bell is adopted, Gself came from space bit 'whats-her-name'. I think Bell and Aida are spacenoids, on top of that newtypes while earthlings are old types. The spacenoids are using the earthings for something and are getting ready to do something
