Spoiler for From out of nowhere::

An important tidbit got revealed this episode about the Build Burning: Sei apparently used it in the 11th Gunpla World Battle Championship.

Well, that was fun. And damn, I'm jealous of Sekai now not only with that but also that he has a beautiful sister....

"Are you still training in Guiana?"

While the official subs got the spelling off, they're really cementing the G Gundam connections brick by brick

Great one as usual, but I must say the OST part is kinda lacking. It's pretty good, but there was nothing that gave me the "WOW" feeling like Yuuki's Flamenco song back in first season.

I know it's not really a fair comparison and all since it was fresh at the time, but I'm still waiting for some kind of the same impact in GBF Try.

Don't worry, I'm sure we will have Flamenco 12 times the passion once Meijin(s) show(s) up.

Though, I really like the OST used during shirohadori or when Build Burning saving Gyanko part. The oriental-ish OST.

It's also funny to see all those hardass guys getting mellowed when their love ones are close by.

Build Burning didn't disappointed. Every of its finishers is already a million better than Build Knuckle.

Of all names they could give a school, they had to pick Odessa right out of UC.

Gyanko has a Zeon collar, a Zeon lunchbox, Gyan shield hairbands... My god, Suzumu influenced her deep, didn't he?

Build Burning's attacks are cool, but I am more worried about Sekai himself. He's already showing signs of the typical "hot blooded main character who is a clueless idiot but able to solve all problems with his fists". In this episode, Fumina and Yuuma showed great teamwork and strategy but Sekai went and screwed it all up by charging head first to fight the enemies, putting the team at risk but somehow he managed to save the day by using his secret martial skills. Yuuma scolded Sekai on this but the whole thing is treated as a joke....

I hope my worries will be all for nothing though. Kuroda is a competent writer and BFT is team based series, so we probably will have Sekai failed by acting by himself and learning the value of teamwork.

Anyway, great episode. Yuuma tried hard in doing his cool 2nd main character persona such as Sasuke, only to get all fanboy like around the sister. Hilarious

You know what I love about GBF in general?

The girls exist to SOLVE the boys' problems instead of being additional burden.

Sure, not perfect (Aila's entire arc after embody is a total joke, and early Fumina is meh), but it's still a start.

If anything, I feel like this is a foreshadowing for Sekai's inevitable screw up in the future, and potentially a one or two healing episodes.

This episode was...... Okay I suppose. Nothing bad about it, but also not much to it other than Beargguy 3 in modeling magazines now and unexpectedly Gyanko is falling for Sekai. Also, what underpants on what MS? Because I saw none.

It is a good sign that they are trying to focus on team work and strategy early on, just an issue of getting Sekai to buy in. One of those cases where it will be easier to make that point after a defeat rather than while they are on a win streak. Solid combination efforts by Fumina and Yuuma though.

While I get for a sniper shooting is paramount, you'd think Yuuma would have more acceptance of what Sekai can do in close combat. It is a unit basically built for pure close combat so who cares how bad a shot Sekai is?

And so a 'rival' appears for Fumina ? Though clearly Sekai is suffering from a case of Reiji denseness when it comes to things like that. Bit curious on the family photo as well. Neither parent seeming to have that insane red hair that Sekai has.

Guiana-Highlands

They didn't get it wrong here. Bandai Entertainment was the one who got it wrong with the G Gundam subs.

Take a good look at the custom Nobel Gundam.
