That must be an anthology, which often has multiple doujin artists participating, in fact, I think the image in the bottom is from Hatsu Inu.
Anyway, right now my biggest priority is the Tatsuta and Tenryuu manga, which already seems like it could be fun, and the Akatsuki sisters are there too, so cuteness is guranteed. Good stuff. |

In short, moe IJN ship girls. See how it's been wedded to the hip to the Arpeggio anime's endcards. As for popularity, many blame Kouta Hirano (aka Hellsing and Drifters' mangaka) ranting about his ship girls sinking on Twitter sometime in July.

Well, it's been way too quiet, especially since translated chapters of the more serious manga have been coming out.
Basically two more chapters for Shimakaze, Girl of the Whirlwind, as well as Itsuka. The latter is a bit interesting, as it's the first time we've been shown the Wo-Class in print, and rather than cute or beautiful in an alien way, they're shown as legitimately creepy-looking. Just a head's up.

I'm against Hisasi getting serialized. I keep losing all my favorite H-manga artists at this rate. Tosh I can forgive, because once you exceed godlike you can just reset your stats and conquer the world over the second gamemode (from H to Non-H).
I can't really imagine Hisasi drawing anything apart from Ecchi stuff though. |

So I take it by this thread that anthologies and other official works (Shimakaze, the 4koma, Calm Seas, even the novel etc) are fair game?
Got a few of these by print, and apparently I accidentally bought an extra anthology (serves me right for not checking before making the order). There are a few more that I didn't buy yet, but mostly because I'm already out of moolahs for them. Didn't realize these anthologies have follow-up volumes. Well, it's a nice thing to know that they even exist, because most of the time I just assume anthologies are single-shots of a collection of selected strips. Oddly enough, my current favorite out of the official series we have now is the Shimakaze manga. It's just that its rate of progression per chapter is a bit too painful to bear. There's more that makes me curious to know than just what has been shown in the chapters so far, but frankly I'm not that very good with... waiting... (Also, yay for thread.)
