This....the food wow. The episode was delicious. And Atra trying to cook it was a priceless 5-star moment lol

It would be true for another Gundam series, but as for IBO, i'm not really sure, IBO have shown the skill of making emotional moment without killing main cast before ( I.e: akihiro case) but there is also Fumitan recently so i can't guess how it will go

Makanai is a willy guy but honest enough to warn Tekkadan and Kudelia Gjallarhorn is coming ignoring even the Ocenia Federation's authority. Carta was intended as a figurehead but was given too much power and she doesn't listen to anybody.

On Biscuit he has followed Orga this long and one letter from his idiot brother he falters. Sevarin is an idiot cause he did thin alone and deluded himself Gjallarhorn would spare a rebellion by giving Kudelia or somebody who claims to be Kudelia. Difference is Biscuit and Orga aren't alone. Orga, Mika and Biscuit has this weird check and balance between them on actions.

So Earthers are squeamish on augmentations due to Gjallarhorn's manipulations. Those with Alaya implants and cyborgs can undermine Gjallarhorn's fighting prowess. If Ein is to survive there is no choice but to enhance him.

Looks like the Moon got blown up like a certain Sunrise show that had Martians versus Earthers.

Isn't it rather suspicious that the Dorts managed to have successful negotiations following their ill fated revolution a few eps ago?

Then again we have no idea what terms both parties agreed to so there could be problems in the long run. It could be a snap decision by Gjallarhorn or rather the African Union to quickly step in to minimize damage, getting equal rights doesn't mean detachment from Union control right?

OK EP

Nice to see Gaelio as distraught as he was over Eins, he's in a sticky spot but still wants to keep Eins alive, even if it meant giving a AV/cyborg treatment. Then there's always the issue of how Eins will react to this when he wakes up. Cant wait to see how these two continue to interact

Ummmm old guy......if you lost your power.....how can you allow Gjallerhorn to come in? Pointless threat.........doesn't matter though, Carta's on her way, and she's salty

Reactions to fish and earth food was hilarious. And Mika seems to have an endless supply of his snacks lol

Biscuit I understand where you are coming from, but in Tekkadan's line of work people die ALL the time, you realize that right? It's inevitable

LAND BATTLES NEXT EPISODE!!!! -STARTS HOPPING WITH JOY-

Thin is what Gjallarhorn did was completely to their benefit not the African Union's. The Dort official was worried that things were going to far and didn't know Gjallahorn was about to bomb the building he was on.

Gjallarhorn did this so they'll get more funding and show they are still relevant. It backfired thanks to Kudelia and Tekkadan.

The Solar System is getting angrier at them by the minute because of their abuses.

The African Union did this to save face. The power blocs reasonable enough to negotiate with the colonies and Outer Sphere but doing so would mean Gjallarhorn loosing its excessive power.

He doesn't have the power over the Oceania Federation just influence. Oceania Federation can keep most of Gjallarhorn out through politics but this is Carta Issue we are talking about and she doesn't care about politics. Heck she doesn't even know Kudelia's name and what the fuss is about her and why the Ardiane fleet stopped from killing her.

One may not be a figurehead of a country anymore, but he/she can still manipulate those in power.
That is what we call influence, and Makanai definitely has that.

My thoughts exactly. Before the reveal, I thought something bad happened to Biscuit's grandma. I was about to cry. When the name "Dort 3" was said, I said, "Oh....him." I still felt bad for Biscuit though, he did love him.

I like you Mika, but, eat your future wife's- I mean, Atra's cooking.

So, Savarin committed suicide by hanging himself due to his failure? Boy, that must be hard for Biscuit after that heartbreaking goodbye in the colony. No wonder he broke a bit this episode.

Also, Mika's weakness is seafood? He doesn't like fish? He never touch it
And Ein will get his Arayashiki surgery like he himself suggested, and Fareed was backing it up. I wonder how Ein's situation will help furthering his agenda.

So much to note about in this episode but I'm a bit lazy today coz I'll be very busy tomorrow.

All in all, a solid set up episode.

I really find it amusing how horrified they are to know that fish is food.

They didn't even try a single bite out of it... too bad it looked delicious

You know, Gali-gali is lucky to have had Eins. That's twice he nearly got himself killed against Mika's group. I'm starting to question his piloting abilities.

And at least now we know why he threw up upon seeing Mika.

Edit: Carta Issue? Good-grief, are names really that hard to come up with in the future?

i am not sure which martians are more freaked out by the alien world that is planet earth, this or Aldnoah.Zero, at least Kudelia knows what's a fish due to her family thus could afford things not found on mars, pretty much like the nobles from Aldnoah.Zero,

& i thought Biscuit's brother was spared from the dead siblings thing this series had but no they stay true to the theme, yikes.........

Robo-Eins coming soon to a theater near you, probably ironic if Gaelio lets him borrow his Gundam which is probably now fitted with the Alaya-Vijana system to fit Ein's enhancements.

Well, it’s still better than naming your characters after (Japanese version of) French numbers like in Wing (Quatre, Treize, Quinze, Un/Une, Sept/Septem, Trois/Trowa, Trente/Trant, Seize/Seis, Neun/Noin, Deux/Duo, etc). Also, surname like “Issue” is not that strange when we have surnames like Utterback, Appleberry, Figures, Nutting, Killpatrick, Peabody, Underwood, Broadchester, etc in real life.

And Biscuit, Cookie & Cracker are some of the best intentionally-hilarious names in the franchise, well, after Quattro Vagina, of course .

let's not forget characters who had the surname Longbottom, as for real life examples we have Gaylord Silly, which is a normal name by the way........

And here in the philippines we have a surname that, translated to english means "d*ck breaker"

Names like that is rather tame tbh

When did we see Savarin hang himself?

Edit: it's a blink and you'll miss it thing--two guys walk into a room and though it looks like just the entrance, you see two feet dangling. Okay, got it.

"It's glaring at us." The Orphans behaving like the stubborn little kids they can be was very funny, while Mikasuki and Atra were priceless adding a comedic touch that such a heavy episode needs.
