It wasn't completely over, but Qianxi and her girls showed up to finish the job. More specifically, the Halloween girl did. She's actually named Cosmo and possessed by the Universe Devil. She mindfucks Santa by instilling into her the knowledge of the Universe, which is too much for her brain and that of her dolls to handle. The whole thing is rather awesome and incomprehensible.

Makima shows up afterward and mercilessly kills Qianxi and her girls after Qianxi had surrendered without a fight in exchange for her girls' safety.

Halloween girl actually being incredibly knowledgeable was a surprise. She's also the one who gets to finish off Santa.

Makima as usual shows herself off to be ruthless and mysterious.

oh no.. I don't really hate Quanxi though.. We don't even grasp her true strength yet

That halloween girl is also very dangerous after all

This bout ended with complete victory from Makima's side (although we still don't know about other members).. can't believe they just survived the assault of 3-4 secret agents from all over the world

about immortality, I forgot why Denji is considered as immortal again.. Can he like re-attaching his head when we drag the trigger on his chest? Because I might think that Quanxi is not die yet since their power looks similar

I hope they could dedicate one chapter to explain more about devil's power and nature

We haven't really been told how to kill devil hybrids permanently, but given that Pochita became Denji's heart and that everyone wants it, destroying his heart is probably the way to kill him for good.

Man, Makima is just scary.

Halloweens power is way to...unrelated tbh. I dont think the mangaka had her power planned at all, the knowledge thing and it not being at all related to halloween makes it just a last-minute ability. Still cool powerset but insanely convenient as well because it also just took care of all the other dolls all around the world, so its even more feeling like a last-minute power.

Either way, i hope we see more of arrow-girl, she isnt dead given how she just needs blood in order to recover.

Santa was taken down WAY to easily, really expected more stuff from her, that way the insane power-tier of the darkness devil would also be hyped up...sadly thats not the case anymore.

Ok chapter, weak ending to this arc tbh.

Halloween beating Santa Claus was obviously planned from the start. Understanding everything about the Universe making you obsessed with Halloween for completely unknown reason is fitting for this manga. It's like the answer to the meaning of life being 42.

Kobeni's car was really popular, even more than the owner herself, lol. Yay for Power being nr.1! Nearly double the amount of votes Denji has. Himeno and Angel-kun being all around Aki, someone's really popular.^^

Denji is surprisingly unpopular. It's rare for a Jump MC to rank this low. I suppose it's also pretty rare for the top 10 to have so many girls.

They definitely do. Just pointing out it's highly unusual for a Jump manga. Then again, the entire manga is unusual.

Wow, Denji actually refused to go on the trip ALONE with Makima so he could take care of the PTSD ridden Power. Our boy is growing.

It was sad to see Power who is always so energetic and arrogant be in such a sorry state.

Special division is done. Aki is missing an arm, Angel is missing both arms, Kobeni resigned, and Beam and Violence are dead.

Wow, i didnt think darkness devil would have such a big impact on the people. Seriously CSMs world is hardcore for a shounen. But nothing new if you read the authors previous work, Fire Punch.

I would be suprised if one-arm-boy doesnt turn into a fiend like Denji.

Denji showed some considerable growth by turning down a trip with Makima to stay home and take care of Power.

Their division was pretty much broken by their recent fight. I especially can't blame Kobeni as in addition to everything else, her car turned out to be more popular than her.

Isn't it weird that Angel wasn't able to reattach his arms or even regenerate them? I thought all devils could heal their wounds by drinking blood (hybrids aside, one that comes to mind is Bat devil), and I'm pretty sure the agency can provide him some.

Anyway, if he really can't heal, I'd say it's likely he'll give his heart to Aki.
