The only big change was as of Episode 1, the Nico Resistance has officially merged with the Maki Empire.

Not a Maki fan like majority but she was seriously adorable in this episode. Still can't get over Santa thing, love how everyone jumped in to save her innocence from Nico

Too many great moments to mention... I'm definitely enjoying this season more than 1st so far. Hopefully they'll keep it up.

The groups they were split up in were based on actual sub-groups.

BiBi is composed of Maki, Eri, Nico, Primtemps of Honoka, Kotori, Hanayo, and Lily White of Umi, Nozomi, Rin.

For me personally, this episode rode a bit too much into campy territory. Everyone forgetting to wake up Honoka (This seems to be a theme in Season 2, as Honoka's often the last to say something and seems forgotten before that moment), Nico and Rin taking a bit too long on their downward slope sequence (when Nico couldn't just crawled in if she was worrying about going down hill), the squirrel stealing Nico's wristband (Interestingly, it's a play on her name, 2 = "Ni", 5 = "Ko/co"), etc.

Luckily though, the second half made up for it and there was a lot of fun moments ranging from Maki's continued belief in Santa (omg Maki, you're too cute ><), the Nico x Maki moment, and....well, just about any scene that involved Maki.

That scene with Nico and Maki on the campfire >w< It sounded like Maki was liking the moment when Nico ruined it
I hope the writers make it a thing and have a NicoMaki scene every episode. And Maki still believing in Santa

I liked how they put them into their mini idol units. This season looks like it'll have a lot of references to past things

Yup, she's my by far and away #1.

She's super kawaii, air headed like Honoka, super athletic, and probably has the best singing voice along with Pile (Maki's VA) in the whole group.

Oh and SUPER SUPER RANDOmM.

Oh and my favourite animal are cats so I gotta choose Rin.

A fun idea though to have them split into those sub groups for the sake of dividing the work. Certainly not a bad idea to divide that work instead of laying all the weight and responsibility for those jobs onto just 3 people. Even if in the end they are still the ones who need to come up with the ideas in the end.

Definitely the favorite moment was the whole Nico x Maki campfire bit. Even leading to the point where Nico claimed that Maki eating the potato she cooked meant she had to now work for Nico's sake
