I feels kinda funny how the showdown with A-RISE and myu's will just be a preliminaries...

...which can easily mean if they DO defeat A-RISE in the competition, they WILL be in a lot of attention from the other groups performing in Love Live!

Seems the energy from Season One wasn't died out with the story pretty much continuing from where it left off.

The decision to make Honoka student council president was definitely a strange one though given how their school only has two 2nd year classes and the only other candidates seem to be Umi and Kotori (the first being terribly shy, the second being a "yes-man"), does make sense in many respects, especially since the student council seems to be just them for the time being.

It's good to see that the show is conscious of the fact that Eri, Nozomi, and Nico are going to have to graduate eventually and with the team fully assembled from the start this time around, I'm hoping to see the energy go full blast with a heartfelt ending involving the 3rd years' graduation.

On a final note, the 3d animation just gets better every time I look at it to the point where it's almost become seamless with the 2d animation.

Still waiting for S1 though... In meantime went and preordered the JP BDs. I laughed that when it was listed on Amazon.jp, the preorder rankings shot through to number 1 for vol. 1.

EDIT 1/6 Eri and Microman Arts (1/18) of the girls. Meaning if you collect 1/6 or 1/18 G.I. Joe figures, you can have them protect your girls. Still not sold on the Microman sculpts, though.
