The author already promise to add few chapter of Rudy mercenary days. Most likely when he meet shota mage and his giant wife.

In one of the last post in the author's blog, he was saying how he wanted to give more cute Sylph in the fun school arc & delve more into her personality.

Since the LN version hardly needed much editing from its WN form, adding new stuff is much easier.

Ah, sorry. I thought it that way since usually the character featured in the LN cover is the recurring/important one.

Hmmn, when I oriignally read about it; I thought that it was gonna be a single chapter within the volume, like the new shorts added to each volume (aka, the usual)..... But since it's taking the main cover and took a while to come out, it might be that the Rafuin took the time to write a completely new volume altogether.

"A new heroine", heh? There is no way that this is going to end up safely. At best, she'll have her hopes dashed?

I figure she is gonna be the main selling point of the extra chapters from now on, unless the author kills her off?

Since the author likes to tie in dots, we'll most surely get that adventurer couple where the girl was cool and dandy and worried over Rudy's self abandonment when he was doing his solo missions; the one that ends up as Lucy's milk

I think she(archer girl) is the one Rudeus tried to tap but couldnt because of his ED.

They may be Soldat's S rank party, "Stepped Leader". Soldat mentioned that at first he mistook Rudeus as a rookie and had him carry the baggage only to be saved by Rudi.

Then again in the cover of Vol.4 we can see Kishirika and she had a rather small (althoug important) part in the story.

So Japan did a poll on WN/LN recently...

Nice to see MT still on top, so I guess an anime adaption is incoming at some point? Re:Zero's getting one so...

Though I feel an anime wouldn't really work (I mean look at the manga, lol. The plot progression is waaay too fast), it would still be interesting to hear voice acting, I guess?

Let's get real.

Gate/a-1 is the best you can get today, the only chance to get more than 26 ep or multiple seasons.

That or a pretty looking madhouse 1 season, 12 episode fanservice only stuff like overlord.

Not even a big name can give you quality. ( look how arakawa raped arslan books )

The first 2 episode lack the feeling of the scale thats described in the ln and comic is not conveyed, and then they just dragged them out befor rushing in the latest episode

I don't think we will be introduced to a new character at this point and since she's a Milis follower the groom is still single, so the candidates would be Luke, actual and former NG, Doga the North Emperor.
