I smelled NTR and came back in (actually read the Chinese version up to vol 2 but stopped), and learned that the MC is a scum that forces a girl on his bro. But why not look at it in another direction and consider him trying to protect himself from his gay best friend instead? As far as I understand, Reiji (the chosen hero) shows no interests in any girls but seem more obsessed with our MC. Our MC, freaked out by his bro's tendencies, of course want to force someone between himself and his 'best friend'. There's nothing unclean about it after all.

That's correct, but snusnu and rape is different my mate Not like I like rapists, but I just hate hetare, donkan, and hypocrite. Being a snusnuer automatically release MC from those negative traits, so we can focus on the plot after that.

No. The friendship between 3 of them will slowly fall apart and it was clearly Suimei doesn't want that to happen. He is just a teenager with super power and of course he will take the shortcut to handle this issue. I don't know till where you read, but... This friendship thing... It's always a weird point in the story. Suimei was hiding his identity in Japan and avoiding interpersonal relationships. The reason he brainwashed Mizuki because to not involve her in magical warfare. Now, there's no reason for him maintaining this friendship as we have known that he's not so keen in friendship in the first place, he can just transfer school or something. Also, Mizuki was a timid girl and not the clingy girl she is now. Her clingy feeling is for Suimei and he redirected it to Reiji. The thing that possessed her said that it gave great burden to Mizuki, clearly tormenting her.

Hence, I put "teenager with super power" in my post. Also, Suimei is intelligent but certainly not wise. So it is not surprise if he made a bad call on this, and I don't mind if it come back and bite his ass on later.
