Namekians being from a different universe is unnecessary and kind of dumb.

Namekians having spread out through Universe 7 several generation ago, opening the possibility of several sets of Dragon Balls existing out there that function with different rules, is actually quite interesting.

Would need to check the original Japanese, but Mori said the Namekians came to this Universe from another Realm, not from another Universe. If this is accurate, this could have huge implications. Then again, this is the manga that introduced 11 other Universes out of nowhere and has only done tournaments taking place in void space with them.

Biggest disappointment of the chapter was the reveal the technique Beerus wants Vegeta to learn is Hakai. I was hoping for something new. At least they had enough sense to have Goku say he messed up when he tried it.

If anyone actually expects the wish to work, then they've never read Dragon Ball. The Dragon will tell him how to get stronger instead, and the answer will likely be the Super Dragon Balls. If Super Shenron can do that though, it will make Zamusu look stupid for wishing to trade body with Goku instead of wishing to be the strongest in all the Universes.

You need to always have a "destruction" mindset...that's what Vegeta was in DBZ...it didn't make him that powerful tho XD

It could be that Vegeta will become the next God of Destruction after Beerus, if he learns Hakai and has a "destruction" mindset.

@Kanon: Good point about Granolah's wish. Though I think it's possible Toyotaro will retcon it so the dragon make him the strongest warrior in the universe. I hope it doesn't happen. But we'll see.

Let me get this straight, Dragon Balls that have 7 balls can’t grant the wish of making someone the strongest in the universe and yet the ones with 2 balls can?

We don't know yet if they can or not.

It could be that the ones with two balls are more powerful (if they can). Or like I said, it could be retconned (I hope that doesn't happen).

I hope this dragon is a troll and is just like, "Uhh, sure, done. You're the strongest!" and then nopes out.

And then Granolah just thinks he's the strongest, fights the Heeters, wins because he'd naturally gotten stronger than them without realizing it (because they're on their way to find those DBs anyway if I recall), goes to take on Frieza, and dies. End of arc, and on to more interesting things!

Spoiler for 69: Granolah's planet is inhabited by a different species now (they look a bit like Zeno), and Granolah is getting along pretty well with them although he lives away from the city with his grandpa who is apparently 500 years old. Vegeta and Beerus discuss the Saiyans and their fate. Vegeta said they got what was coming to them, and that their downfall started when his father took power. He makes no excuses for his past actions either. Their discussion start to get heated and Vegeta says to drop it since it has nothing to do with the technique he's trying to learn, but Beerus replies that it actually does. Drafts end here, so it's unclear what Beerus means. We'll know in a few days. __________________
