i know there's sweat stored in them, but doesn't it need to be set off by kacchan's quirk?
the way i understood it was those gauntlets amplify the power of his explosions, but it doesn't make explosions by itself.

Aren't they built to set off when you pull the pin? Maybe he also has a property to ignite his sweat when it's directly touching his skin and they installed a small flint or pin to mimic the effect. Horikoshi needs to clear up his quirk some like is only the sweat from certain parts of his body flammable? Can someone like Todoroki say, ignite the sweat on Bakugou's shirt or forehead to blow him back?

About the poll, everything seems pretty much expected. Aside from Todoroki, I did not think he'd be that high.

I'm surprised Deku won and All Might was in 5th. I expected All Might in the top three at least and Deku in top 3 with maybe Todoroki winning.

Really? I'm not the least bit surprised Todoroki is that high. In fact, I'd have been less surprised if he took the #1 spot. If anything, I find Bakugou's spot more unexpected. Didn't think a total ass like him would be that popular with the Jappanese fans, but there ya go. I'm also surprised that class B girl made it to 13 despite her rarely appearing in the story so far. It's also too bad that Tetsutetsu didn't tie with Kirishima in votes.... that would have been awesome.

BTW, it looks like the poll took place before more recent characters like Stain and Gran Torino were introduced, so that's why we don't see them here yet. Gotta wait until the next poll before those guys show up....

I was expecting Todoroki to be high up if not outright first. Honestly it's Baku being so high uo that surprises me but maybe that is just for some of the comedy he provides.

Also, his whole character is pretty fukin funny, albeit he's a massive dick

well, for the story: sob flashback isnt as sad as i thought, why the hell is kacchan crying? is it so sh*tty to work with deku (or use him)?

first: healing-granny also mentions kacchans immense talents, what are they talking about?

now seriously,
i understood it if kishi did this to sasuke since we saw how idiotic-OP the eyepowers could get... even if the powerlvls arent the same, even in-universe i cant see what would make kacchan become such a outstanding hero...
gigantic-girl would be a real harcore match for him, the same for cementoss...
i doubt that they are talking about "teamwork"-things :/

second: deku is using 5% rather good, but it is really not strong, it didnt even injure beatdown-kacchan, he needs to reach 10 or 20% before fighting another villian...

third: i doubt that kacchan will find out allmights real self, at least not if 30 min are possible for the powermode, (how long does it need to plan the stuff between kacchan and deku?, btw, which hero-name does kacchan actually have?)

fourth: am i the only one who wonders why kacchan didnt use the big explosions against allmight? instead he fired several small ones who dont even do much damage (even if it was someone else)... im sure the 3-ton-explosion from point black would have caused serious damage (if not kill him) :/ (maybe he held back for his and allmights savety XD)

fifth: did anyone see kid kacchan describing what happened on the TV in the flashback(where he moved his head)? i am not the only one who thought that it looked cute right?

sixth: seems like kacchan can control his sweat explosion via mind-ordering, wouldnt this allow him to use his power over his whole body?
+ it should give him more strategys than outright attacking, i mean, imagine a gun loaded with his sweat instead of the stuff used for causing sleep, if it hits it would be loaded into the body of the enemy, a few second later the whole body could get immense inner bleedings thanks to the exploded sweat in his venes...

seventh: healing-granny said something that makes me a bit uneasy "to deku allmight is like a god", i think that idols arent bad but not to such a extend, i hope we will see more with time...

eighth: can anyone calculate the strength created by explosions? i would like to see a comparison of the small explosions against allmight and the strength which he used while moving in mid-air...

Wow, as expected All Might was wrecking those two. At least now those two can work together. While I doubt they will be very close after this, they should at least be able to work together from now on and have mutual respect for one another.

i wouldnt be suprised if kacchan completly starts to distance himself from the others in order to only train his own strength...
+ i doubt that there will be mutual respect, deku himself hates kacchan (i got really suprised) but he admires his thinking (the one where "heroes always win"), and kacchan would only see deku as a bigger pain in the as* which he needs to beat no matter what :/

OR it actually ends up like you said and they become somewhat like vegeta and goku (which i wouldnt like in the slightest...)

Even more random is that there was a vote for Deku's shoes. Also, turns out it was the author himself who made #17 in the poll, interestingly enough. But by far my favorite thing about the poll page is the blank look poor Mineta has on his face. Ah, don't worry little buddy.... you'll always have a high place in my book! As for the chapter itself.... well, aside from the obvious beatdown Bakugou gets from All Might, there's something notable that the teacher tells our explosive friend: While he might be jealous of Deku's growth, All Might warns him that a person who's at "level 1" will inevitably have faster growth than someone who's at "level 50". Of course, Bakugou continues to be a dick, saying that he'd rather lose than accept Deku's help, but this is the point when our protagonist leaps in, punching Bakugou himself. He then screams some sense into the boy, which leads to a brief flashback where a younger Bakugou wins a fight against kids who are older than him. I'm not sure here, but it may or may not have been to protect Deku. Back in the present, Deku decides not to run away from All Might after all. It also seems that his words got through to Bakugou, as they make a joint attack against All Might. Furthermore, he's wearing one of those grenades on his arm! The chapter ends just when Bakugou yells at him to fire a blast at All Might...!!!

Spoiler: Spoiler: Deku and Kacchan land a critical hit on All Might, he bleeds from the mouth after tanking Bakugou's sweat glove bomb thing point blank. Momo and Todoroki face off against Eraserhead, Todoroki manages to blind him and goes in for the kill but his quirk is suppressed Momo makes giant scissors to attack Eraserhead but wavers and both get buried in ice. Interesting chapter.
