The Dead Space 2 Collector's Edition will be available for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Pricing details were not announced. The PlayStation 3 version also includes a copy of Dead Space Extraction with Move compatibility.

Dead Space 2 is set for release on January 25, 2011.

Thats a cheap price.... Thats enough to last me for 4 days of buying games that are $19 dollars... It looks really expensive to me

I think this is a good deal for PS3 users cuz they have Extraction for free too .

That plasma cutter looks just like the sort of toy my little nephew would love to have; Then again, if it's one of those annoying toys that make lots of sounds, I wouldn't be too excited about getting him one.

I'd rather buy it, keep it in mint condition, and sell it in a few years to the highest bidder. Sounds like an idea.


As for the multiplayer... that simply means I won't be able to enjoy videogames by myself (again) and most likely half of the achievements will be impossible for me to achieve (again) because I can't access Xbox live where I live (again).

I just got today the very last achoevement I had left on Dead Space 1 (Epic ingeniere level 3 "beating the game on impposible mode") So, I have 1000/1000 and 48/48 on this game, needles to say, I'm ready for Dead Space 2!

funny how i haven't played a single horror game in the dark(F.E.A.R, dead space 1), i played with lights turned on in my room. I think I am going to try playing this in the dark with headphones. It creates a suspense and good gaming environment

I never knew playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent can build up so much courage now.. I never did play Dead Space that much, since my brother got our XBox 360 the red virus of doom. But the trailer was sorta... Well the singing gave off the chills in this one

If anyone of you played System Shock 2, the train station's lobby design is the exact same one as SS2's opening map where you choose your job.

Probably without the basketball though.
