Even if Miya left home, tittle doesn't fit as noone in-universe as anything bad (given her father just got arrested for sexually assaulting minor)..

It probably refers to Kousuke, Koto or both.

bias is strong outside law like the mother lying to the police, fortunately they were pretty neutral and competent which is unusual when portraying them.
Miya has a repetitive behaviour and easier to predict (many accurately guessed her running away from home the first time). OTOH Koto make the female cop get tangled up making her change her attempts to make her talk 5times and by then Koto got hold of it.

Yes, but even if two chapter titles were directly related (which is pretty bold assumption), it would just mean Koto is one.

Also doesn't matter how competent police handle this whole affair. Once word get out it might ruin his and his daughters life.

Joke aside, I kinda feared competent police happened in this manga as that means they're not joking around (can't treat them as comedy addition).
Can't blame Kousuke for not going, "No, sir, I'm not guilty!" as he already got glare from his superior, workmates. Making fuss only made the situation worse.

I kinda wanted to blame Koto for not trying to help. Then again if she help, her mother will have more reason to accuse Kosuke as criminal tried to take her daughter which is the worst possible case compare to being suspect.

I mean it's not like it's first time you just attribute her bad traits she doesn't have or doen't show in that particular moment. Who was one insisting she's gonna be "coward running away from home" despite story clearly pointing on Koto or Kousuke being one?

In first place Miya said she cannot forgive Koto for this whole deal, what lead you think she would suddenly approve it not even few hours later?

She said she would help Koto moments before but once her crazy mother came she turned a blind eye and left. Then she claims to understand her father by running away from home for the Nth time(doing it again this chapter), it's consistent of her character.

She didn't promise that neither she claimed she understand her father. Both those claims are factually wrong.

And this is first time she actually run from home and it's not matter of cowardice, but defiance thus it doesn't fit.

One thing I can say for sure no amount of hugs, words and tears can move Koto's heart anymore, her mother is dead to her. Did she meet Miya by coincidence or she call her to the train station? Next chapter titles: Chapter 52, Friend Chapter 53, Cowards, Run away. The twitter account of the series says that it will be the longest night in Kosuke's life. The author also tweeted that after discussing with the editor, the reader will decrease by 5%. My bet is that Miya will use this situation to run away from home with her boyfriend (fits the chapter name), she always wanted a pretext, she basically lives with him already, went back to skipping school, and that would further put a heavier toll on the already crumbling Kousuke's mind and this would make of him the perfect target for Koto to finally keep him around her finger showing herself as the only human left on his life who cares about him.
