The character design in this series feels so great.
The choices of voice casting is above average enough for me.

Especially, the female character named Koiwai who is always following Aki and buys her food, she is so cute and like a cute creature that is really not of this world.
Aki is really lucky to have someone cute, quiet, and is loyal to her.
People should confess his/her feelings to Koiwai, not Aki.
At least i think she does not reject people in such grand scales like Aki does.
Surely, she is more easily approachable than Aki who thinks she is too great that boys are not worth her time.

I mean we know Aki is hot, but she is not only that kind of hot.
She is too hot as in if you get too close to her you'll get burned.
Those boys who confessed their feeling to her just got their mentality burnt and got a heartburn.
And people still goes after her to put off that fire somehow.
For whatever reason those are, Aki is bad news and if you want your heart to get close to her, just freeze her.
Masamune is exactly doing that, his revenge must be that serious as far as he got himself burnt by Aki to the point he burned all those fats.
Then he proceeds his plan to freeze her mentally and heart, and break her like a thin ice.

And Koiwai's voice is also a great choice.
People no doubt can definitely say she is the best character.

And there it is the second episode.

They literally adapted 1 chapter in one episode? that's okay but I have some doubts to where is the adaptations going to end to be honest.

For some reason I can't hate Aki, she can be a really nice girl sometimes and others just a huge bitch (like the rejection at the end of this episode). We knew more about Yoshino and her real personality which shows the purpose behind it, now she's gonna help Masamune with the "revenge".

Futaba THE BEST, JUST THE BEST.

Oh boy, I wonder how many people were surprised by that.

The mind games between Aki and Masmune were pretty evident this week. I guess we'll be seeing more and more of his past as the storytelling reveals itself. Not going to lie though, Aki's smile is cute.

The sad part is that Masamune is going to be so all into the revenge plot that he'll miss out on girl(s) that actually like like him. Don't skip over Futaba, dude!

Also Yoshino threw me off big time. Didn't expect her to want a piece of the revenge pie.

How can everyone missed that!!?
Everyone was too busy buying lunch that they missed the part Makabe pushing Koiwai to the wall!
Then Makabe said something like "Paying off with her body", and pinching her cheek!
Makabe just let his guard down, putting his image loose like that!

Doing well and making fair speed so far. I can now better hear what was meant about the voice. I've seen other series with this VA but there was enough difference (including Swim) that I didn't really catch it.

One thing I wish they'd kept from the manga (read a bit of it) is the way Masamune left after telling Aki he'd like her to rely on him a bit more. Originally, he walked away counting "4...3...2...1..." with perfect timing to her scream. Somehow this minor bit seems a little funnier and a little fun lost without it.

Also a little hard to pin down Yoshino right now. Is the clumsy airhead who doesn't even notice when her panties are completely exposed just an act? Is she really that cold and calculating? If that voice thing suggests what has been suggested then how does that fit in with her declaration that she wants to "help" him get revenge?

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! I was grinning ear-to-ear upon hearing Masamune-kun turning down Iinchou. Take that you dorobo-neko, nothing is going to stop Masamune from his obsession with Aki.

Of course, TECHNICALLY Masamune also got turned down by Adagaki, but at the very least she didn't give him a nickname. So by all accounts, he did much better than all her other suitors.

And yep, while Aki's VA is growing on me, this show is still carried by Hanae's Masamune. I love how he conveys that Masamune isn't really as confident inside as he shows off to the world; that deep inside, he's still the little pig's foot despite totally changing his appearance. I'm actually loving the male side of the childhood friend couple much more, when usually it's the other way around. Heck, I haven't enjoyed a male MC like this since White Album 2 actually; like sure Haruki is still my favourite male MC of all time, but Hanae voicing Masamune is really giving him a run for his money. XD

So Yoshino doesn't like Aki but is still serving as her slave and wants to get back at Aki so she's willing to help Masamune-kun but Masamune isn't willing to trust an Aki lackey so he's staying clear of her and is failing. In the process of failing he sort of rejects the class rep girl. Now he has no choice but to trust Yoshino otherwise his plan is going nowhere.

This still isn't catching my interest. I am a bit curious about that last girl as in where and how she enters this revenge story, but the events so far aren't quite keeping me hooked. Another episode or two before a final decision on its fate.

Another great episode. I didn't expect Yoshino to be like this. I wonder if she can still be trusted. Masamune blew it with Futaba, and that just sucks. He really wants his revenge after all.

Makabe actually took things way too lightly, thinking Aki will fall for him at this kind of pace.
I think he pushed himself to get too many attentions from other female students that to Aki, it is just blatantly showing off his charming prince side to other.

But Aki didn't really humiliate Makabe in front of everyone this time because she kind of owed him.
I mean Aki only just refused him, not calling him names or anything to describe his weak sides.
