As others have said, this movie was fun, with an epic ending. This is also one of the few times when I paid attention to the music, and loved it.

Spoiler for a certain bit of music:

The action was good, the laughs were excellent... the only problem is they gave a hint or two about Starlord near the end, and now I'm going to have to look up what those hints were about

Movie was fantastic. 10/10.

Was fun and really comedic. But balanced it well with the emotional/serious parts. And the action and visual effects were great.

Star lord was awesome. I hope Nova is in 2nd one. They've hinted at it, so chances look good.

Awesome movie. Will probably go see it again at some point. It was downright hilarious, the cinema was cracking up nearly the whole time.

I'd give it 7/10. The romance subplot and the humanoids in general weren't that interesting to watch (apart from Star-Lord himself once he got going with shenanigans), and I'd like to have seen a bit more of the Xandar air forces. Ronan and his entourage was a bit eh, whatever.

However, as I went in expecting silliness and comedy, I was not disappointed there. Thanks, RocketGrootDrax Trio.

A really strong opening. Amazingly came pretty close to toppling Captain America there.

Of course definitely worth having that kind of success. Will definitely see it again before it leaves the theaters.

Of course it'll have a crossover with Avengers! Whether or not it'll be in that movie that is mandatory is the question. If it's outside of that, it would be a great opportunity to have them go thru the formalities and get familiar with each other. Plus, Avengers in space.

Went in with no expectations, went out pleasantly surprised and entertained, probably one of the best comic book films of all time.

Yeah, the movie is great. I really enjoyed. One of my favorite Marvel movies and one of my favorite comic book movies.

About GOTG teaming up with Avengers, it shouldn't be Avengers 2. I'm sure GOTG got their own movie so that they could team up with the Avengers for Avengers 3...

Spoiler for Spoilers for Avengers 3:

The two at the end of Cap were Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

That said, I'm not sure if there will be a big team-up against Thanos. It'd make sense, but it'd also be messy. If not then, I could see them all meeting up in some sort of Kree/Skrull (Chitari) war like the Avengers got involved with in the comics.

Avengers 3 could be the epic finale, though, considering that RDJ only has it in contract to go up to The Avengers 3 and nothing beyond that.

Why roll out a GOTG movie, Antman movie, and Doctor Strange movie if things weren't leading to an epic team up for an epic showdown at the finale of this movie project?

Avengers 3 is 2018, barring any setbacks. They have movie dates up through 2019 already.

And that's plenty of time to get more contract extensions.

I do have the feeling they are building up for something big in the Avengers 3. It wouldn't surprise me if that Avengers and Guardians team up came in there. Gives the Guardians 2 movies to be built up and another Avengers movie. Seems like they could make the big move there. Considering they teased Thanos in the end-credits for the first Avengers I just wonder long they'd put off going directly against him?

Avengers 3 will cover the Infinity Gauntlet that much has been hinted. So I expect a lot of heroes, including the guardians to feature since GOTG links more to A3 than Ultron as well.
