There is actually a lock on the invisible thing. This is why sometime the thing is strong and some time not. It depends on how much the lock is severed. Coronzo completely screwed up this time by breaking the lock completely from his onslaught on Touma. Now the invisible thing is completely on the loose. At full power it can even one shot Aiwass. It got so bad that Touma even tell Coronzo to flee.
Touma is now on the run, to somewhere with nobody else the invisible thing can't hurt anyone.

So IT is free and it's extremely powerful! I'm guessing IT is what defeated Coronzon? I feel sorry for Touma though seems that he can never catch a break. Do you have any spoilers on Accel, Hamazura, Misaka and Misaki?

Aiwass is indeed working for Anna. But he isn't taking his task seriously. He is like, even if I don't do it now, I can still do it hundred of years later. No hurry, Imagine Breaker and Kamijou no Touma is not going to disappear anyway hahaha.

Yeah, this arc has definitely made me dislike Hamazura to the point where I don't enjoy his parts anymore.

By the way, how the hell did he have time to do recon, go into the tunnels, find Queen Elizard and have her explain enough to convince him to help her, find and take the sword and return to her before Choronzon, who was established to have gone into the tunnels BEFORE the helicopters landed, found the items? And why is Choronzon all of a sudden ok with NOT KILLING SOMEONE TO GET HER WAY? The world bending and plot induced stupidity is strong in this volume.

THIS, this kind of bullshit is the reason why I have come to dislike Hamazuras' parts in the story, of it's not just him cruising by on "dumb luck" it's the world bending itself over backwards to accommodate him into the plot. I understand why Choronzon didn't face Accelerator due to him learning magic so quickly and her fear of being delayed from her plans (which she conveniently forgets as soon as she encounters Hamazura), but there is ZERO excuse as to why she didn't just kill Hamazura and take the sword and no, "because she thinks is more fun this way" is NOT a proper excuse.

The worst part is that it is pretty obvious that you just know there will be no consequences for Hamazuras' actions, everything is going to end up perfectly for him. If it was Touma somewhere in the world a new more powerful opponent would appear and set their gazes on him or those near him, for Accelerator it would be a be a new darkness trying to mess with him yet again, but when it comes to Hamazura he always seems to be the one getting scotch free out of everything. Name me ONE time he has paid the consequences of getting involved in something (as in something bad that happened to him due to the circumstances of his actions)... I will wait.

As for when it has focused on other characters, it has been great and I can't wait to read the rest.

I was genuinely surprised by that Hamazura angle. And the between the lines sure was interesting.

I have a lot of questions, lol, but I thought everything other than the Hamazura parts was amazing. Those may be better in hindsight given what happens later in this volume. I still liked them, but they felt a bit sudden.

That said, chapter 2, section 2, hot damn. Finally, this series has reached this point. Touma without his right hand in the middle of an international emergency and Touma in the middle of things and with most of the people around him too busy to be able to properly care about him.

What Othinus said about Imagine Breaker was interesting. She actually doesn't know the reason why it regenerated in the past. I never realized that she knew so little about IB. I wonder if Aleister actually knew why or not. Hmm...

What I'm really curious about is whether Touma can unlock an esper power or learn to use some magic while he doesn't have IB. And I also wonder if his natural immunity to fate is now shot because he doesn't have his right hand. So many questions, lol.

One thing is quite clear, Choronzon is very good at aiming towards her goal. By the time she's done with this, she's probably going to get very close to driving the entire world into a conflict whose sheer scope would surpass the scope of their WWIII countless times in severity and urgency.

Like damn, lol. I can only see things continuing to escalate from here. I'm really curious about what's coming next, Damn, these cliffs.

You know after everything that's been going on, i don't think any of us should trust the magic side when it comes to IB.

Terra and Fiamma thought they new about it only to be proven wrong. Aleister and Othinus thinks highly of their knowledge about IB but in this volume that too was proven wrong.

Honestly i think they should have realize that not everything could be easily explain and just accept the unknown.

For some insane reason I'm now imaging Othinus treating Touma in the same way that Holo would treat Lawrence (Spice and Wolf). I'm assuming it's because she referred to Touma as being foolish/all his various faults (otherwise I have no idea why). It's messing with my perception of Othinus (because then I imagine her doing the things Holo would).
