After being given a hard time at the gate Kururi finally got into the castle, but since he was dirty from going out hunting previously (and also from laying on the ground in front of the castle as a form of protest ) he decided to take a bath. When he goes to the bath no one was there and he was surprised at the grandness of the bath facility(it was huge).

Later an oji-san shows up and joins Kururi, the two start talking and then they washed each other's back and then started drinking the sake that the Oji-san had stashed away in bath facility, Kururi thinks that he just made a 'bad friend' but oh well whatever, Japanese male bonding I guess.(but none of the characters are Japanese... But this is a Japanese web novel so get over it.)

I'm not sure about this last part but I think Kururi and the Oji-san started playing slip N slide and Kururi accidentally slid all the way into the wall and hit his head but he was fine though.

Spoiler for spoiler as to why Kururie is being sent to prison:

A few chapters before the most recent chapter at a masquerade Kururie had punched a "Young Master" from an upper noble house in the face, so they then framed him by making it look like he created dangerous magic swords that make people want to do evil things like slash their comrades/disciples.

Spoiler for Why Kururie punched the Young Master:

The reason Kururie punched that "Young Master" in the face is because at the masquerade he spotted some guys trying to forcefully abduct a girl from the party, so he tries to stop them but he gets hit in the mask, seeing Kururie get hit the girl removes her voice changer and tries to get them to leave Kururie alone, but Kururie recognised the girl's voice as Iris so he loses the restraint he was showing and punches the guy in the face, causing the mask the guy was wearing to break and the guy's face to bleed.(in the most recent chapter we find out that Kururie's punch also knocked out the guy's 2 front teeth, which were replaced with gold teeth lol.) after doing that he takes Iris's hand and leaves but not before letting the guy know his name. *facepalm*

Sure he did the right thing, but honestly, leaving your name behind, wtf? Did he even try to use the prince name before punching?

I dropped this since his dumb "payback" fiasco.

Also the fact that he is care too much with Iris. She's a freakin walking bomb after all. I mean if you play the damn game, know Iris is the heroine and there's tons of guys into her, why the heck would you go into that muddy waters? I won't.

Furthermore, from a totally subjective point of view, Eliza is way better anyway. Did Eliza get more screen time after she visit him when he got punished?

When Kururie gets to the prison he sees that all of the cells are metal fences with bars on top, with no bed or anything inside of it. When he gets to his cell he cleans the dirt from the floor and lies down, he was uncomfortable because all of the other prisoners can see him. A group of prisoners come over and surround him and take him to see the boss. When they get to the prison boss's cell Kururie is surprised to see that the prison boss's cell has nice furniture and walls.

The prison boss already knew Kururie is a noble and he tells Kururie that he feels bad for him but he's been payed to show Kururie hell by some influential people, Kururie knows that it's most likely that noble house that framed him.

The prison boss tries to intermediate him but Kururie wasn't having that, so the prison boss laughs telling Kururie that he can't use his authority as a noble here and then he odors a big muscular guy to come beat up Kururie but that guy quickly got his ass handed to him, so the prison boss calls in more of his subordinates to handle Kururie but Kururie is kicking their asses left & right.

While Kururie was fighting those guys he sensed the prison boss shoot out ice magic but instead of dodging it he lets himself be hit and thanks to his constitution he absorbed the magic into his body.

The prison boss is confused because not only didn't Kururie get knocked down but instead he can sense that Kururie's magical power is growing. Kururie tries to use a small wind magic but ends up creating a huge tornado that blew away everyone but the prison boss.

He was thinking " I don't want to be the prison boss but this guy has a nice sofa and his cell actually has walls".

The prison boss is panicking and tries to use his connection to that upper noble house to make Kururie back down but Kururie was like "I'm already in a war with that noble house so your connection with them doesn't matter.". Then a huge flame concentrated on Kururie's arm and he used that arm to punch the former prison boss in the face.

After Kururie beat up everybody he said something like "Well I guess I'm the boss now. Sorry"

Yes Eliza has made appearances, both Kururie & her are into each other and are aware of it, Eliza's parents also seem to be aware of it.

In the beginning of the chapter I just summarized Kururie regretted not being able to see her face before going to prison.

I don't think it's that clear cut. There are several points where he compliments Iris and the reverse through her POV. He keeps it "just friends" because he doesn't want to wade that muddy water with Iris and the prince, and also because he's kind of a fatalist. In some ways he views his life as part of the game, which is why he zeroed in on Eliza even though he didn't have genuine feelings for her until later.

It's going to turn into a triangle sooner or later, I'll bet.

Anyway, I just want to say that this prison arc is just too unreasonable. Kururie is a nobleman in good standing (even if his house isn't really top class) and the "evidence" was simply flimsy to pathetic proportions. How is it that such a trial passed exactly? The frame-up was kindergarten level, and it only passed because the MC was simply somehow made incompetent in pointing out basic flaws. It was just really disappointing writing all-around.

Even before taking into account justice and stuff, the MC has good connections with the 2 princess and a foreigner princess, oh can a guy like that just being ditched into the joint? How about fearing worsening relations on all sides with the important people?

Well, then again, is not like the plot progression of this was written flawlessly from the start.... But well, I'm soo totally here because I want and Isis & Eliza sandwitch end

@bludvein: Yeah that trial was really ridiculous, to the point that I was contemplating whether or not I should put reading this novel on hold for awhile, but when I saw travelingbum's spoiler and then I just had to read the chapter.

@Okashira: I wouldn't mind a harem end but I doubt it will happen though.
