The start of Episode 6 reminds me of Episode 2. Remember Fubuki being pampered by everyone before her first ever taste of a field mission? In hindsight, I feel that giving the 6th Div this win was Nagato's share of sacrifice to give the girls possibly a "final happy moment".

And I don't think the first few moments of the episode was related to the curry event. We all know how Mutsu doesn't hold back in showing her emotions.

And I thought Akagi was the only glutton in the fleet. But I guess that adds to Kaga's charm.

Next episode would probably be lots of tsun tsun and hilarious sitcoms.

Things I didn't notice the first time around:

Hibiki with the golded pot on her head.

That the orignal pot has a timer for completion behind it as they used the flamethrower on it.

Curry is generally spicy, though the level of spiciness varies; as a general rule Japanese curry is milder than Malaysian curry, which is milder than Indian curry.

Having said that there are some people who don't really think about the people eating their food, and just ramp the spiciness all the way max without considering taste (i.e. every single damn potluck at my call center).

Don't really know why between all the awesome moments this episode (dat string pa- *shot* ), the one that stuck at me the most was Fubuki being so hopeless towards Akagi. Absolutely NOTHING can break Fubuki's senpai vision of Akagi

They are very faithful with game stuff... their ingame-lines and even that expedition result is hilarious..
They even pointed to several traits in game... especially that part "when they go back from mission, neither abyssal fleet nor food are left.. Carrier Group One!"

Kirishima-Naka are a good MC combi.. while Ashigara's desperation is so sad... that's what a lady must face on, Akatsuki-chan..
It is funny that Nagato only choose the less-spicy curry to be the winner... so that's why she encourage Akatsuki-squad because she believe a group of young girls won't make a spicy curry

Yuubari-oneesan is also there.. while we got more screentime for Shoukaku as well
perfect episode and a good one to begin your day

next episode might be a funny one as well
now I'm worried about the kind of mission Nagato mentioned earlier
