Utou doesn't just die, half his head gets blown away. Though then Saeki does snap, goes crazy and becomes an Anomaly...and then the fact that this manga does weird shit out of nowhere strikes once again and she uses UTOU'S DEAD BODY AS A BLUDGEONING WEAPON against Giger...who also turns out to be a woman.

This manga is so clinically insane at times...

Love the manga and its no-holds-barred events. Kills any chance of an anime adaption, but it is worth the sacrifice. I'm surprised that a magazine publishes it, considering how screwy it is. I swear, it could traumatize a person who flips through it without knowing its genre.

Well, Sekai Oni is actually a web manga, which could explain how it can get away with as much crazy stuff as it does.

Dang, Giger is a frighteningly powerful opponent.... to the point that she doesn't even need to directly fight herself. You know, at first I thought Kuroe would sort of be a match for her ability, but then I remembered that she's all about the sex, not the birthing, lol.


And once again, poor Adachi never gets a break....

Geez, Kuroe's about to get raped by Giger's monsters JUST after she resolved to become a more responsible person. The irony's so thick that you can cut it with a knife! Things aren't looking good for Pero's side, either.....

Well kinda expecting it from the developments before Utou's tragic fate but he's back! Kinda.. Maybe he'll become like Hijiri for the remainder of the story?

Giger's training flashback is just the right type of 'for the greater good' that really makes sense, especially given the usual excuse employed by other stories but more so given the context here. Looking forward to more.

Started this manga a few days ago and it was a surprisingly good read.

Though it's supposed to be dark and some scenes were quite disturbing, I still couldn't keep myself from laughing at some ridiculous scenes. I especially like Ookura, he sees people looting stuff and doesn't stop them because it's against the law, but takes their drugs and then gets high.

Geez, I was joking before, but I guess Utou really will end up being the next "Bunchou-chan" after all! But ye gods, are those "romantic" scenes between him and Saeki cheesy as hell!


And yeah, Giger's flashback was pretty interesting. Though as expected, she and her monsters were totally destroyed by Azuma. And unfortunately, it looks like poor Pero will be next, contrary to his wishes....

So Giger is finally done for and everyone has returned to reality..... yet the night isn't over just yet. Now I just wonder who between the bullying cousin and molester uncle became Azuma's sacrifice....?

Oh, man..... this last chapter was magnificent. The uncle admits what a sick bastard he is (I find it really messed up that he went to the trouble of explaining what a virgin was AFTER everything he did to Azuma), then he snaps, but Azuma gets miraculously rescued at the last moment. Speaking of that, THIS scene got me grinning from ear to freakin' ear.


Lastly, I must say that I find that last page to be quite lovely:
