@Sinedd If they ended the fight in that kind of way (one standing still) then the whole meaning of friendship would banish, from what i understood, this fight, more than deciding who win and lose, was for them to let their feeling out (not in a dirty way), and since naruto managed to maintain the focus on stopping and not killing in the fight, it ended with both of them in a tie (thats how i got it from the panel of both of them laying on the ground) and thus let them say their true feeling (ohh bromance) and finally realizing that more than who won, they became honest with one to the other and it was more like a good friendship win. If the ending was with one winning, then some hole will be left, like sasuke killing naruto and turning everything to crap, or naruto winning and making sasuke grow more hate and evil feelings since his complex will rise, it doesnt work (that is my opinion)

Really kishimoto, u really did an excellent ending for that fight, after fighting in all possibly flashy way to just fist to fist and letting all out, just their friendship remained, letting both of them move onto a brighter future, and that final panel...damn, it did fit well imo(so thats way they use bandages in the imgs of the upcoming movie).
Long life to bromance.
Plz kishi, make a good ending for one of my favorites series

I wonder if Kish had more chapters would the fight have gone down differently? It seems people liked it because it was short and sweet. While the SasuNaru was strong, just imagine 15 chapters of SasuNaru romance and flasbacks. It probably would have killed the fight.

Well, outside of Kakashi, I don't think any of the adults have even been shown. The focus is clearly on the grownup kids.

Considering this is the cringe-worthy"relationships" I have ever seen in fiction (let's not start with Twilight), lost arms should not be the end result.

This is a relationship built on hate, jealousy, envy, superiority-inferiority complexes, and pandering yaoi.
No form of symbolism for this finale will change that

and naruto...
HxH is one of the most awesome storys i have ever read, naruto on the other hand is full of plotholes, as*pulls, and the worsed: they couldnt even kill their own OP villian, meruem was narutos madara and he was defeated in such a epic way, instead, madara turned into a woman who has the IQ of a fish, no, sorry, the fish is more intelligent

the last chapter was ok, both are equal, powerwise, well, nothing new, but the panel with the lost arms was great, and than....they destroyed it with the blood touching each other, sooooooo -_-

the worsed part: sasukes "sudden" memories about naruto and his feelings, it was more forced than anything else in the manga (with some exceptions), TnJ really reached a new lvl

Or because there's literally been nothing to affect any hetero ship in about a month? Just because the next chapter is the last chapter doesn't change anything, any argument that could be made in any direction is the same as it would have been a month ago.

If you want the storm, just wait for the next chapter. Especially if Kishi cops out and doesn't show any couples, since then people would expect it from the movie and argue until it's out. And then when the movie doesn't show anything, they'll look for anything within the last chapter and the movie to take into the context that they desire.

Of course, this only applies here, not tumblr since that place is an insane asylum.
