Turns out the reason Yuuma was acting like that was because of a loss he suffered and he felt like he could no longer face Fumina. It was still pretty low of him to then stand in her way and quite possible get her to lose her club. Glad that Sekai called him out on this and lying to himself. Sometimes someone like blunt and straightforward like Sekai is needed.

The fight was anti climatic but the main focus was to the get the group together. The episode was also full of cute girls like Fumina and Mirai

. Even the vice president Eri was pretty cute when she let her hair down and then hooked up with the president. No doubt she probably got shot down on purpose

Looking forward to some of the future opponents. Especially the gundam that took down Yuuma in the past, the female Mejin, and the gundam unicorn variant.

Haven't seen the latest episode, but... what's this talk about a female Meijin? How can that be if Yuuki's still the third Meijin Kawaguchi?

I really enjoyed this episode, especially due to Eri and Yuuma, but over the years, I've really come to dislike the seemingly exaggerated idea of knowing your opponent by use of your fist. It's even more ridiculous when you do it with gunpla.

It is ridiculous, but not without any merit. There have been cases of people beating each other up and becoming friends over it as a result. Still, knowing your opponent through use of your fist is basically just another huge G-Gundam shoutout.

I wouldn't be surprised if that Domon figure is actually Reiji himself.

I highly doubt it... I am sure it is Domon counterpart in GBFT similar to Ral.

A counterpart, at any rate. We already saw Domon as a child in GBF, but as we saw with Mineva, it's possible that there's multiple Domons.

Its unlikely unless she gets mind controlled, she already has an announced suit in the "Bearguy Family" built by Yuuma.

BTW the mackdaddy Yuuma is going to be moving fast.

OP/ED sucks.

No "feel" for the main characters. Just watching this for Mirai and 1st season characters.

And I can't stop thinking 'Build Knuckle!!!!!!' everytime Build Burning does his punch.....

The best theory at the moment is that since the battle format is now 3v3, the Meijin can no longer fight alone, so he needs two more companions to fight with.

And the fantastic ride known as Build Fighters continues on!

Admittedly, I wasn't really feeling moody Yuuma and almost started to cringe at the thought we'd have to watch him be like that for potentially half a season until he got over his trauma. Luckily I was wrong! That little bit right at the ED was more than enough to convince me he'll be just as much fun as Hoshino and Sekai.

Speaking of Hoshino, seeing her with her hair down = <3.

No need to comment on Mirai, cause let's face it, no words would do her justice.

SD gundam seems to make sense if shes the "commander". Use a suit that is hard to hit, but hits hard while giving orders to your teammates is practical IMO.
