good news: 34,35,36 and 37 were released this week!
finally things are getting very interesting and we get answers about Kurosaki's past and his relationship with Souchiro (probably the best character of the manga)

although things are getting serious Dengeki Daisy knows how to mix drama and comedy at the same time, i hope they keep releasing more chapters! (in japan they are on chapter 50)

EDIT: 38 and 39 are out today, i confess that i cried during chapter 39 which is the last chapter of volume 8

The last four or so pages of chapter 39 were soul crushing. Especially knowing that this was going to happen right after the flashback story started at chapter 36.

We've been waiting for this flashback for sometime now, and it certainly delivered. It'll make the reunion that is sure to happen soon all the more sweet. I can't wait for it, i truly can't.

& the volume 9 cover is so adorable. Easily my favourite cover so far.

Shit... just... holy shit. That's how you build suspense and tension without the threat of impending violence or explosions in the background. Masterfully done. The weight of one's conscience is arguably one of the heaviest things one has to carry, and Kurosaki certainly has a huge cross he has to bear.

And another fucking cliffhanger for Chapter 40. Urgh.

This week we had 49 translated.
I love Kurosaki and Teru's relationship, they are not lovers but they both acknowledge their mutual feelings.

Can't blame Teru for her reaction with Akira's encounter, I would be the same
Talking about Akira, I'm really curious to know about him.

Rena and Kiyoshi are getting quite an interesting development (they're so tsunderes).
Who exactly is Rena's fiancee and how is he involved in the events?

And let's not forget about Riko, to me she is like a modern day version of FT's Erza. I hope we can get a gaiden episode with more interaction between Riko and Teru's brother, they would be so fun to watch.

Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: England, UK Age: 37	Spoiler for Chapter 40: Teru's plan totally surprised me, i mean i'm so glad she's learned from her past mistakes and didn't meet up with Akira, though i never thought in my wildest dreams that her plan would be to trick Kurosaki into making him come back to help her. Beautifully written Motomi Kyousuki, you have my praise. Spoiler for Chapter 41: That was everything i hoped for, and much more. Beautiful reunion, with some of the best pacing i've ever seen in a shoujo series. The build up to Teru's 'Thank You' scene was stunning. Especially liked how this chapter didn't have to be 100% series, because as we know after 41 chapters of this series, that Kurosaki and Teru's relationship has a lot of heart warming comedy, and to see them act that way right of the bat was so lovely. Kurosaki's crying face was hands down the high light of this chapter. For so long he's wanted to hear those words for Teru, and finally he can let go of all that's troubling him. Beautiful.
