They are largely the same except for the text being different. It's a lot of dialogue from spots in the manga. The third one says the phrase "It's like a broken (technically break) blade" which Lygart says when he first sees the unit after its excavated as I recall. On that note, the official US release of the manga adjusts the title to Broken Blade because Break Blade doesn't make sense in english,

Why didn't I notice this thread before. Anyway, I'm glad this series is getting an anime adaptation, one of the few mecha manga series that I like. Its also awesome knowing that Production I.G and XEBEC will be doing the animation... make me look forward to it even more.

I wouldn't worry whether she appears in one episode or not considering shes the main female lead of the show.

Hell yeah, since the manga was first scan I've always wished for an anime adaption of Break Blade. How could I have missed this?

Actually, it's called magic, but "psy" is more correctly, they just use "psy-type" magic to control mech (similar to Aetivalis in Nadesico) instead "joy-stick" control systerm. Their mech or people have no some kind of magics to throw linghting, fire ball, mind control, grip and throw object like Jedi/Sith blah blah blah but fight with swords and "similar rail-type" guns as normal human ..

This mech is using Japanese on control panel, so it mean it is belong to Japan during ancient era )

cool! but i wonder on what animation style would they use for the Mechs? CGI or Standard 2D?
but unfortunately, they adapted it into a Movie trilogy instead of a TV series

but i'll wait forward to see the end results anyway
