Made 1 banner already

as it's my 1st time entering this kind of contest I'm not sure if it's any good or anything but at least I gave my contribution

Characters: Rika and Hanyuu
Anime: Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kai

I reserved them so that I could have free spots to keep track of entries, if I need to do so. I'm not sure of how many we'll get.


The first banner attempts are lovely by the way. I think people have the right idea on the theme.

The global msg sure worked well I think it should also be used during voting.

There is no technical reason why they couldn't be used, it is just a policy we've had since time immemorial. Mostly aimed at keeping the sizes down (banners can't be fragmented, at least not easily), and to stop them being too distracting. Granted we could veto any that was too distracting, but it would mean the creator's effort was wasted, we lose a banner entry, and bad feeling abounds.

Its really not much of a global announcement as a global pm, since it addresses to us. Still it was a good idea.
