God, please no! I actually love Usagi Drop and if that happens I'm gonna drop the series as soon as it happens. Cause I looked for something with a nice family feeling and that's the reason I love this manga

I don't a daikichi x rin is possible considering the mangeka's other work. That said it wouldn't even make sense, the people saying they would look good together. Are you really reading the same series?

That said I have this strange feeling Daikichi won't end up with Nitani-san(Kouki's mom), though I really want that to happen. :O

Nitani-san and Masako seem to be the two main candidates; let's see how this goes... I don't think anyone else has a realistic chance.

Nitani-san is probably the logical choice but Masako has the greater comic potential. It would be entertaining either way.

Maybe it's another serie, because apart from the girls who resemble Reina-chan and her mother, I don't recognise the boys.

As volume 4 was already officially released in french (Un drôle de père: a strange father) I've read it all, and do not worry about this picture.

It first involves his cousin and niece (remember Reina-chan?), who had issue with the in-law family and dropped by his place.

Aside from this, there are some sickness related issue, and Kouki's mom get's involved as well.

But for now his feeling are more of being of admiration and acting helpful toward her.

At times I'm not too fond of a time skip but I'll just have to wait and see what shows up here.
I'm guessing since its more focused on Rin, it will be more about Rin and Kouki's relationship?
Hope it doesn't leave out too much of Rin and Dakichi interaction's, its what was the big draw in for me.

Just read chapter 17 and 18, Wow Rin is able to take control of the men in her life was funny and Rin's mom is starting to grow up she really wanted to see Rin's face but I guess she is afraid of something that happened between her and Rin when Rin was a baby.

The whole of volume 4 is out and it was pretty fun to read it. Rin getting a cold and Daikichi getting all flustered about it. Daikichi making friends with the other parents other then Nitani, Rin looked so cute with her two front teeth missing, and the jump rope where Daikichi started teaching Rin and Kouki how to jump rope and I know how Daikichi feels I could also lose a few inches off the mid section myself.



There is also rumors of this being licensed by yen press it is listed as licensed in Mangaudates and wikipedia but so far no conformation.
