what i meant before was, if two samurai are fighting.. and one loses grip and drops his sword, the samurai would let the one pick it up, and then continu dueling

or if two samurai come across one, they would attack one ata a time, and rarely kill from behind. and if u are the samurai being double teamed, u should stand ground and fight them both

also: i beleive naruto would be dull if it had guns, Kimishoto probably wanted to create a sureal world that was based on old times and had some new tech, but like i said.. thats not what i was opposing

And yes... i agree with you. Naruto would be less exciting with guns.

That's right - Seg was disputing my statement that shinobis don't have honor

...by giving examples that ninjas fight dirty as hell...

and my statement about bullets going fast was aimed not at him but at the people who figure that because a ninja can evade a kunai, bullets are easy to dodge as well...

About the bamboo gun, yes, it is good for a first-strike surprise offensive attack. Defensively, however, the thought of carrying around a giant bamboo pole loaded with
•rocks
•gunpowder
•a flint
•something to create a spark

in the case you're attacked and somehow manage to set up the weapon in time is not as efficent as a kunai or shuriken.

exactly.. thats why it was used as a distraction.. or a one shot deal where ur prepared for it before hand, so u can quickly use it. like one example is a ninja would use it on one side of a property and attack some guards.. the loud sound would draw the enemy to one side so other ninja could come throught the other side.

-oh yeah, shinobi have honor.. but a different one, like they wont kill innocents or such.. they only fight dirty to gain any advantage.. or as we say it in battlefield earth talk "he has leverage

Guns do exist, but i reckon they are way expensive. One of the episodes on the bridge in the Myst Country..The rich short guy had a pistol.

why dont they use guns?? its not that didnot discover it?
that impossible, ive seen the use of electronics then why is it that they dont use it

Well, guns > kunais... so its pretty gay if some1 using a gun against a ninja. If you dont know, people w/ guns owned the japanese samurai and the British owned the Chinese in the Opium wars

You need guns in Naruto? There was the Shukaku vs Gamabunt fight with compressed air and water bullets. Now that two beasts were BIG GUNS

Naruto and Gaara would own Clint Eastwood with those "guns".
( The jutsu's had the "gun" in their name, but can't remember the exact names. It was COOL)

and remember to follow the anime laws:

#16 - Law of Inverse Accuracy
The accuracy of a 'Good Guy' when operating any form of fire-arm increases as the difficulty of the shot increases. The accuracy of the 'Bad Guys' when operating fire-arms decreases when the difficulty of the shot decreases. Naruto would pretty much be crap with guns in it. I mean, Naruto goes full Kyuubi and ready to take on anyone, even including Orochimaru and Itachi and then BAM!!! a little kid shoots them dead. Fighting with guns is no fun, plus it would send out the wrong message that having guns is cool because ninjas have it etc....

Of course, Tenten would rock with her 100% aim though. Show all the females who's boss!
