Achille is a bit too indirect at 12 years, but at 15 years when he confronts her directly he's pretty clear that he wants to marry her. He could throw in some professions of his love, but outside of that, I think he should be getting his point across. She's just too dense, with too low an opinion of herself. I've looked at the MT of the series up to 29 now.

It looked like the King of Diamonds (Tria Topageria) wanted to use a sort of love-potion type of tea on Camilla, but the Queen of Diamonds (Beatrix Tapas) wasn't tolerating that shit. She's such a good bro to Camille. Beatrix was actually a Raiga fangirl when she played the game, and I think she was a college student, thus a little bit older than Camille was before the switch.

What exactly made Beatrix decide to start dressing more masculine and become a swordswoman? Was it also to avoid the bad ending for Diamond!Queen?

Even the author seems to have originally intended for there to be a King of Hearts/heroine pairing, but instead decided to have Royce go for Beatrix.

She is genre savvy enough to know it too, so she figures she is not a good match to anyone. She was also so wrapped up with Achille's personality in the game she did not see him actually change with her around.

all the queens and the heroine plus the hidden route character seem to be from the other world. QoD was a collage student, QoC was a 52 year old woman that never played the game, QoS may or may not have come from another world we only get 1 chapter from her point of view and all to mentions is she lost her memory when she was 5 so she likely was very young if she did cross over. the Red Joker (the hidden route character) was a middle aged man, and the Black Joker (heroine)

was a bullied middle school student. the game was given to her by her sister(not sure if real sister or not) that I think had a hand in making the game. she came to this world when the game was taken from her by some bullies and thrown in the river and she jumped in after it. After crossing over her life sucked even more as her parents were killed by a monster and she faced starvation all these factors built up to the point it looks like she is firmly part of the revolutionary faction as she blames all the aristocrats and has a major chip on her shoulder for the queens since she sees them as people that both used there knowledge to "cheat" and being aristocrats had an easy life. It seems she isn't aware of the issues that they had to face (assassins and the like) nor the fact that QoH has been working with the people that try to prevent thee same things that happened to her family since she was 7.

After reincarnation got cocky that she is the main heroine, has tons of magic power and going along with the storyline gonna get harem, high social status and all the world, tried to accelerate things, got herself into a dire situation, used magic, lost control, released magic wiped out two nearby villages killing her entire family, friends and everybody she knows including one of four possible love interests (her childhood friend, the future K of Clovers). So she became angsty, got grudge against all the world cause "it's not what the game was about" and gonna try making revolution by herself (no revolutionist K love interest anymore, her magic killed him) abusing her magic power and her knowledge of the game

I love the fact that all the queens and the heroin are reincarnated/transported rather that just the MC. It adds a nice little twist on the ever growing popular story of reincarnation starts lately. Multiple people get a chance to use foreknowledge to change the world and their ending for the better.

The new Camille does not fit in an Otome game.

Note, the below is likely inaccurate in a lot of ways.

Spoiler for Camille STRONG:

Glanced at the latest chapter's. Beatrix and Royce were having some drinks in there room. Two maid showed up, they were assassins and Beatrix disabled them in melee combat. Even had Royce easily avoid the daggers thrown.

Afterwards 5 mages of the "black" show up, blow up the door and go in to finish the job. Royce quickly throws up a defensive shield but he is being pushed back from their magic and can't do anything. After a moment he has Beatrix take cover behind him.

The wall blows up.

Camille walks in through the destroyed wall, Beatrix describes her face as similar to a Noh mask. Royce states that using so much magic would not escape Camille's notice. She quickly casts a spell and nearly instantly turns 2 of the 5 into frogs. The other 3 only were safe because they threw up a shield instead of attacking.

The remaining 3 throw all sorts of offensive magic at her. She calmly stops all of the attacks She then asks a question.

"Frog or Slug? Which is good?

Her ability and personality make her almost seem a better fit for Shounen series protagonist. My limited knowledge of the other genres has it harder placing her in them.

That's one of the reasons why I'm enjoying it so much. There's a contrast between her personality and the setting that she's in.

Did Camille have a loli body type too? Or was it just that the original game's Camille often wore goth loli clothes?

That's the hard part in imagining her because her body type doesn't match her personality.

I Google translated the web novel and it didn't work out too well. When the characters are talking about something specific it's not too bad for me, but the more casual their conversation is the more difficult it is for me to understand the Google translation. It's better than nothing though.
