Here is the deal, the last Indiana Jones received Positive reviews from a lot of Critics (including Ebert) and IMO, DBE was a better movie than Indiana Jones. So for one, those Critics who come out and give very positive reviews to movie that don’t deserve it, whereas they give negative reviews to movies that have more or less the same quality, are just either been Biased or they are Paid to give good reviews.

The first thing that happened to me is that I went with the expectations that I was going to see the most horrible movie I Have ever seen, and when I saw the movie, those things that sucked didn’t bothered me (except the last fight that was too short) because I was not expecting anything remotely good from the movie, I just went as a casual fan that just wanted to get entertained.

So, there can be people that see the movie, or either complaint about how it goes against how the Toriyama story went, or how it looks like a bad B movie, but for me, I paid my money, I had a few laugh, a few observations, and a few chuckles and Goosebumps with, believe or not, small details that are homage to the Anime series (and there are some here and there).

And thats is really what movies are for, to get entertained and not go and see them to just analize the Good and the bad.

Overreaction o0 a little bit.
If the had followed the story more probably it would have been a much better movie since the actors fit into their roles.

And what Rurik said is right, there are a lot of movies which were underrated but which were really good and some that were overrated like hell.

Because it is wrong to have an own opinion today ...

It is like those SAW movies, those are not worth watching in my opinion but everyone seems to like them ...

SAW movies are pointless. The plot line is basically the same, and you make a good prediction pertaining to which character will die first in Jigsaw's trap.

Just senseless torture, and the torture isn't even that bad compared to other movies.

i can't remeber which movie studio is doing Dragonball movie but they should do taht outside the studio. have a picture of Dragonball the anime and the manga and then have people leaving flowers on it outside the studio.

Watched the Evolution movie a couple weeks ago during spring break. I went in having low expectations. I mean REALLY low expectations.

The movie was awful and full of fail and the sad part is that it didn't HAVE to be full of fail. Silly mistakes caused this. Then again, I feel like the movie was made for a different generation of kids to see - not the generation that grew up watching DragonBall(Z) on Cartoon Network in the 90's and late 80's.

We can only hope. Something this horrible should never be allowed to have a sequel. I mean sequels struggle to be better than the original and with something this horrible....the movie could very well destroy humanity as we know it.

only bad about DBKAI is that they did not remade the animation but the story pacing of KAI is more better than DBZ

Spoiler for Review: Overall - 2/5: Acting: 2/5 Effects: 3/5 Dialogue: 2/5 Casting: 2/5 Romantic Plot: 1/5 Overall: 2/5 Acting: Honestly some of them just couldn't act, didn't try to act or just overacted. The guy who played Roshi especially overacted the role: but he at least did it in a good way. Roshi is suppose to be a big personality and I do think the actor did well in portraying to the film adaptation. However, the Yamcha guy was terrible. He sounded like a typical surfer dude to me and man it was bad @___@ And ChiChi was so 1 dimensional. Effects: The effects weren't that bad. I mean, it must have been hard to think of how to do many of the things they did because DragonBall DOES have a lot of flashy lights and whatnot. Dialogue: Whoever wrote the script needs to be butchered. The script was bland, predictable, pretty corny and futhermore the story flow sucked. Seriously the story just kept jumping around every ten minutes or so. Goku, in my opinion, comes off as a complete tool for 75% of the movie and Bulma is really bland. Casting: I think casting could have been better. I mean, Roshi was supposedly Gohan's teacher in the movie, but he looks a lot younger than Gohan looked. Romantic Plot: Dear gosh, the romantic subplots between Bulma/Yamcha and Goku/Chichi were so bad. Let's start with Bulma and Yamcha. Now Bulma pretty much hates Yamcha right away from trapping her in a hole. Yet over the course of two or three days randomly likes him and falls in love with him. I mean, they have no real onscreen moments together besides little segements and yet we are suppose to believe they are now in love. There needs to be far more development. Now Goku/Chichi. Where do I begin. Let's begin with Chichi, the moron in this romance. I will not lie: she starts liking Goku because he opens her crappy hitech locker for her. Sure she notices him and he obviously has a crush on her (going as far as to watch her in the hallway and have a fantasy of her sucking strawberries in class) but she hardly pays any attention to him, save a pitying glance after this jerk crushes his bike. Then after a fight between said jerks at her mansion party he leaves her behind and she disappears until half way through the movie when she's training for a martial arts tournament and then goes off again. Next time we see her she has this really dumb flirt scene while Goku is training and in my opinion comes off as a total slut. These two have NO development between each other. The only thing they have to relate to each other is the fact that they know martial arts. In the anime, Chichi and Goku's relationship started off from childhood and even though they married only due to a misunderstanding, they still love each other in a way. The movie, in my opinion, doesn't portray Chichi accurately at all. Overall: The movie was awful and full of fail and the sad part is that it didn't HAVE to be full of fail.
