At any rate, that first script was just for a DVD video I wanted to store on my harddrive...no one will ever see it except me. But I'll probably re-process the VOB with
crop(8, 0, -8, 0) LanczosResize(704,480) and store animorphically, as you suggest  The RAWS I release...at various places...come off of SHARE and start as 704x396 square pixels (usually), and end life as 704x400. However, I don't like the "AddBorders(0,2,0,2)" I have in that one, and I suspect you don't either  .
