Actually, I just fished him out of Wikipedia. And my Photoshop skillz are limited to Cut and Paste, and badly at that, too.

Actually, in Cat-years Mikoto is 70 years old. So she's legal.

Since Mikoto is obviously a magical creature in the Mai Otome manga, she is exempt from the "granny" rule. It's like elves and fairies.

So we can expect to see Miss Maria in a similar outfit .... since she's sorta a magical creature in the Mai Otome world (Orc, Oger) .......

Or in her case, a lycanthrope. (A wordy term for "were-creature. )

Cute...? I'm glad the risks for anime Mikoto to be like that are very low. I mean... the Mikoto in the harmonium is the "real" Mikoto, right? Let's pray it is... Because I don't think I could stand a character who adds "-nya" at the end of her sentences in the anime.

Actually, 'Lycanthrope' is a 'wordy term' for were-wolf (Lyans being latin for wolf, I believe). Now, I'm not sure what the latin word for 'cat' is, but I think that the closest descriptor for Mikoto in this instance would be an ailurothrope.

I REALLY hope they don't do that to Mikoto in the Anime....granted, I did find that funny.

Lupe is the latin word for wolf.

Lycanthrope is a greek word,

lykoi/lukos - wolf

Anthropos - man

Now days in the D&D world "lycanthropy" is use as catch word for all were creatures.

Theriomorphic - is the actual word for creatures who could shift shape between man and beast.

...that's just WRONG man. I'd seriously gag to death if I saw that

Anyway, story aside, the manga-ka for the Mai series does a nice job in drawing females. Although I seriously want to know what's up with Sith Lords Nagi and Sergey. Those expressions are so over-the-top evil it's getting ridiculous. That and why does Natsuki put up with Sergey being around her girls all the time if he's like that.
Oh yeah, is Nina still Sergey's daughter in the manga or is she just another student?

In the manga, Sergay is Windbloom's Prime Minister, so it's not like Natsuki can do anything about him to begin with.

In the manga, Nina is taken in by Nagi, instead of Sergay.
Although I still can't confirm whether or not Nagi actually adopted her.

With the way Nagi treated Nina?
I'd say it's fairer to say he didn't. More like he took Nina in as a slave.
