My opinion, is that racial jokes being fine or not all depends on the people telling them and the one listening. The exact same jock told by two different person could one time bring good honest laugher all around and the other time around turn into a racist snigger that'll make you want to punch the guy's jaw off (althou I'm more the type to launch myself into a diatrib

).

I say them with my friends but I would never, ever say something like that to someone I didn't know would appreciate it and know it wasn't for real.

Almost all of my friends are white though and since I myself have blonde eyes and blue hair I could easily be "targeted" as a racist or white supremacist if someone misunderstood a joke.

In my opinion you can joke about anything - no subject is taboo. However, the people you tell it to might not appreciate it. "There is a time and place for everything" as they say; Just because you can say it doesn't mean you should. Tact is important.

I try to stay liberal by equil oportunity sluring. I try to make sure I do not discriminate aginst any group by leaving them out.
