I heard about this a few days ago from the same web source, I'd like to see another site announcing the same information. I can't rely on this being the truth when I've only seen one site with this information, if it were true I'd think a lot more sites would have this information up.

If it is true, I'm thinking it either:
A) It takes place at the end of this current arc, and the report just used the wrong wording when they said "Mangekyou Sharingan", making people have to go see it in theatres, and possibly stalling the anime so it doesn't catch up to the manga.
or
B) If there's a time skip, it could take place in between the skip.

I had another idea, but I forgot -__-

Couldn't it be something as simple as a missunderstanding? I mean, mangekyo powered chidori? Seems like they confused the three dot sharingan with the mangekyo if you ask me.

No one can release the Naruto movie because its not out on dvd yet. Could you imagine if someone took a camcorder and then tried subbing it?

THE HORROR MY EYES HURT!!! lol

This is going to be like the Inuyasha movies. The anime will have caught up by that point, and it'll just be Naruto and Sasuke encountering each other and nothing coming of it.
