Oftentime in dating sims, the plot progression goes like this: comedic common route -> enter heroine route -> protagonist solves the girl's tragic problem (an arranged marriage, an incurable disease, a parent-child conflict etc etc) -> happy end. If you don't enter the heroine's route, she presumably is consigned to her unhappy fate.
So what happens if the heroine knows that the only way to solve her problem is have the protagonist enter her route? She'll become desperate to make that happen.

Obviously just theorizing.

I just connected that the writer for this series is Yasumoto Tooru, the writer of Steins;Gate Zero, Chaos;Child and a few Memories Off titles. Makes me a hopeful that this won't become another UXO like Punch Line...

I think some of the ominous looking figures in the background of the OP is meant to be the antagonists for the girls' personal routes, but I wonder how much of this is for their sake or for Asahi's.

This actually really reminds me of Punch Line a lot honestly... that said though you should probably look up a manga by Ryukishi07 (yes a manga) called Harem Royale. I get the impression this isn't going in that direction.

I don't really know what to think of this series yet but its original so I'll give it at least half the season or so.

I think there is obviously something going on behind all the crazy antics. The only question is will it turn out to be worth waiting for.

I'm still not sure what is going on, but so far I'm having a good time with it . The characters look good, the show is having fun with the crazy situation, and there's a layer of mystery that has me intrigued to get to the bottom of it.

If nothing else I'll agree with the message...the girls are attractive . Again I'm almost completely sure there's some crazy twist coming that'll make the surface level situation a minor thing by comparison. And I'm curious to see what it'll be.

Well, she's kind of the generic cute girl high school Heroine (maybe even intentionally so) but I like her! Miku Ito helps .

Yeah, it does kinda feel like he's stuck in some kind of renai game world setting doesn't it? Perhaps he has to accomplish something while he's there? Or is he unwillingly stuck there with no memory about it?

I forgot what game it was that you could talk to the fortune teller and get some helpful predictions. It's been too long since I've read renai game discussions. The "Flops" in the title makes me wonder what that is referring to?

Amelia's fine behind first thing in the morning! Quite the sight! Although apparently all the girls (except Aoi) have been breaking into Asahi's room every night to the point where he has several locks on his door...none of which seem to actually work .

Aoi seems like the perfect wife/mom. She takes of the food, most of the household chores, keeps track of everyone's stuff, and she's the only one who hasn't broken into Asahi's room. She also somehow knows about his favorite food. She would probably write it off that his dad told her his favorite food, but I wonder if it's all programming ?

I was so expecting Amelia to be the typical tsundere love interest but she just plainly walks down the stairs in nothing but a towel and panties, even with Asahi right there. I guess by the end of the episode it's clear that her tsundere aspects are less regarding her romantic feelings and more her overconfidence and strive to be worthy for Asahi and be seen as an exceptional. Also the fact that she may not have big boobs, but she does have a pretty nice butt .

I honestly thought the Harem being from different countries wouldn't really matter, but now they're finally dropping words in their native language and Amelia's struggle with learning Kanji was the main thrust of the episode .

Although it isn't just difficultly learning Kanji so much as just that she's been corrupted by learning from erotic porn novels to the point where she's acting out the dialogue like and Asahi are getting busy. I mean, I guess it kind of works, but no wonder her writing is so...explicit .

Ah, the classic Harem romcom study session! Nothing brings two people together like some study time at the library! Although it turns sour when Amelia loses it because she feels that if her efforts don't pay off, none of it mattered, and she's only trying to understand the native language of the man she loves .

It's kind of surreal seeing an Ayana Taketatsu character self-critique and hate herself for being a tsundere .

So it seems like all of the Harem will get flashes of the real world as their bond deepens with Asahi, as Amelia does here when Asahi validates her feelings and admires her for her work ethic while chipping in to better help her study. And of course just when the vibes are really getting good, the rest of the Harem pops up because they were listening in the whole time .

Amelia plastering kanji all around the house, but also here's naked, bathing, Karin !

I love confident Amelia! And she's more than ready to teach Asahi English, and I imagine more than just that .

Operations, but the meaning is kind of right. Though to be precise, in places where FLOPS is used the most often one instruction usually performs several operations (the same operation for multiple data pairs/triples) at once (for example 32 on many NVIDIA GPUs or up to 64 for AVX-512 instructions, etc.).

Subtle... There is the digitally disintegrating MC in the beginning (dream), the unashamedly galge premise, and the "What's your name" on his supposedly best friend.

So it's either a galge-like simulation or poking fun at that as much as they can. My guess is the cliche he is in a hospital while the girls are also real and know what's going on (possible curveball, the MC is the AI and the girls are players). The "information" about the girls from the best friend is extremely private and random btw.

Do you think the 5 unlocked electric locks mean the redhead is a skilled hacker, meaning she is the one that hacked the cleaning robot to facilitate the scene and this all leads to the girls intentionally preparing everything from the start or is this reading too far into the things?

I'm curious to see what the truth of all this ends up being. The key feels like the flashes these girls are seeing. Clearly they have to be past events between them and the MC. But do they recognize those moments or are they surprised by them? Are they aware that something weird is going on here or are they just playing their parts without knowing?

Either way, I'll keep on watching. If nothing else to find out what the twist will end up being.

Instead of a beach episode we got an onsen episode complete with an uncensored version that is... out in the wild thanks to AT-X. Probably the most comical and efficient way of revealing the girl pretending to be a boy.

I guess we're getting an episode dealing with each girl before unraveling the simulation or whatever, with Karin and Mongfa on deck. I'm guessing the sexy sensei will be last, but we'll see.
