Artwork for the Protagonist and the heroine.

The character art by Enami Katsumi, the person who also did the character designs for Zero.
Didn't expect Enami to return.

Enami just drew the final art that's it.
The character design is entirely by Falcom as revealed by Famitsu.
But garish, that dude looks so much like Laura's dad.

He's only around 23 years old(28 years at max, but I don't expect falcom would have the protagonist being over 25 years considering he is a childhood friend with Elaine), I don't know why anyone would expect him to look much older than he does.

I'm wishing for more of Olivier's and Muller's type of duo characters this time. I really missed those characteristics from Sora. So why not on this one?

This male protagonist, somehow going to remind me of Gintoki Sakata from Gintama.

Some new info about the gameplay is revealed in this week's famitsu.

Outside of Battle.
R1 is acceleration and R3 is targeting.
You can even avoid battle when close to an enemy if you aren't targeting the enemy

Action Battle.
Circle is attack, Square is deploy shard, X is evade (Back roll, Step), Triangle is menu.
The other party members are controlled by AI. You can switch character with L1.

Command Battle (can be switched to anytime from Action Battle)
A gauge is shows the turn order. It inherits some characteristics from AT battle (the battle system used up until now).
When it's a character's turn, it can move freely in the battle area.
There are Link and S-Break. Guard, Arts and Craft and so on are on their own buttons.
Arts AoE have been renewed. There are new gameplay systems like BOOST and SCLM Chain.

It's both, you can choose whatever way you want to play whenever you want. What pros and cons each mode way has is difficult to say until we see how it plays out since what restrictions each mode has isn't clear yet.
For now I can see that in action battle you can evade attacks if you are skilled enough and in command battle you get turn bonuses like in the old games.

For now to me, it feels like use action battle when killing small mobs and go to command battle when fighting bosses. But it could be that it will be better to switch between each mode more often mid battle.

After two months, Falcom have announced two other party members.
Risette Twinings, a 20 year old girl work as a service concierge at the PMC M.T.S.C

Quatre Salision, a 15 year old boy that is a scientist who looks up at L.Hamilton like she would be his grandma.

The also detailed the orbment system which sounds like it combines elements from both the old system and CS system. Install arts in the Arts Driver, and the quarts values decided which shard skill the character gets.

Official website has been updated.

Kuro no Kiseki will release for PS4 on the 30th of September according to this week's famitsu.
Nothing surprising there other than why did the official confirmation of the platform take this long.

Preview scan for this week's Famitsu with the 8 party members.

And 7 of those 8's voice actors have been announced.

Van is Ono Daisuke
Agnes is Itou Miku
Feri is Ogura Yui
Aaron is Uchida Yuuma
Risette is Ishikawa Yui
Quatre is Tamura Mutsumi
Judith is Youko Hikasa

This info should come out on the official website tomorrow with high res art and screenshots.
