Thought this week's episode was a swing and a miss. Felt like the story wasn't planned out very well and just left itself to being vague. The two previous episodes were strong, though.

This was a very unfocused episode. And even the ending was kind of just there. Before the MC had always done something for the girls,gave her a much needed talking to, helped her get her revenge, or gave her some happy high school memories in this one he basically did nothing.

She actually has bulimia nervosa, which involves binge(over eating) and purging(vomiting).

Yeah, saying she is obese might be an over assumption.
But she definitely is binge eating without herself being aware of it. (That puzzled expression on her face when she saw all he bags of junk food in the trash can. Or how she said that she hadn't ate any donuts for years but we clearly see her chewing on donuts at night with hallow eyes.)
I guess this is also why she is a witch without having the Sleeping Princess Disease.
There is an unconscious self inside her that's doing all the eating and it is that self made her the witch.

Yeah, my thoughts were that she was sleep eating. It's rare but can happen. Just like sleep walking, the person isn't conscious that they're doing it.

Lily suddenly looked much better with how she dressed on the train.

But to the episode itself, I can only say "huh".
Although the show already hinted that things aren't going to stay nice even if she wakes up.
But I certainly didn't expect the twist heads for that particular direction...

Can someone pls identify all the ingredients in that curry in EP4?
I already mistook an asian mushroom for an aubergine ><

That being said what I could identify myself:

- Some kind of (likely Asian) mushroom
- Asperagus
- Potatoes
- onions
- potentially garlic
-Carrots
-Tomatoes

No idea if its garlic or not - looked a bit large for onions because you usally want them to melt right into the curry. (at least with the recipe I know)

That being said I really wanted to taste it with tomatoes as main ingredient now and tried it (at simmering)
In contrast what I put in:
- Oval Cherry tomatoes
- Potatoes
- Onions (finely cut)
- garlic (cut into small cubes)
- Carrots (totally forgot to cut them large, so yeah too fin imho)
-Champignons
- Aubergine (Thought this was strange - not a summer fruit at all ><)
-bell pepper
-bay leaves

I highly recommend trying curry with tofu. They work really well together.
Also, adding some cocoa to the sauce can bring out some good taste too.

Absolutely, that was a great episode. Admittedly, at the start I did think "oh, right, Wizard of Oz pastiche", but it went way beyond that. I loved the 'children's storybook' style of animation they used too. It just made the denouement bite that bit harder.
A real change from the usual and a good story.
