Man, all the TRPG replay characters made in the show. That's pretty sweeeet.
I still have yet to read the replay book.

OP animation, I preferred the first season as well. It was more adrenaline fueled and got me pumped up for the episodes with all the jumping around they did compared to this one.

it's different because it's new alt(characters) she made from scratch ( not same one from Shiro memory)

not to mention her real life look can change her body look

I liked this a lot. I also seem to be in the group that thinks that this season has better animation at least so far than season 1. I will indeed continue watching. Maybe if I like it enough, I'll read the LN's when Season 2 is finished.

While I like how Log Horizon returned, I have to be cautious for this second season. Speaking of cautious, looks like Kinjou feared that Shiroe's influence might undermine his clan.

Still, can't wait for next week!

damn i stopped reading the LN at this point so i have no idea what will happen next..

im glad Log horizon is back.. ya know the uniqueness, plot, surprises and unpredictability make its soo exciting to watch..

A slow episode, but a rather informative one. Last season it was 5 million gold they needed... now it's 80 Trillion

Great return for log horizen the op still the same but its a good op so i am happy. The animation looks better than last season, Deen get to much hate if you ask me. I can't wait until they their new get up and more character and world building coming up can't wait. I kind of get this saber and Shirou dynamic from Shiroue and Akatsuki. Well Akatsuki see Minori as her rival but she has more than Minori to worry about

. The ending was cute and Fun to watch can't wait until next saturday!

Log Horizon is back! And this time Shirou has to deal with an threat far more troublesome than war.... TAXES!

The Kunie clan is a cool idea- A true secret organizations that runs the various public facilities in an MMO city, away from the gamers' sight and out of the lore.

Next week, LFR22M Palm, need healers.

I hafta agree with those who said this was a good episode tying in last season and setting off this season. I gave it a 8/10 vote.

It was sooooo nice seeing all the old characters back and in full swing, and to see new characters as well. Have to admit one of my favorite parts was having Regan pop up to help Shiroe and the Log Horizon guild and the introduction of the Kunie clan into everything.

Naotsugu's analysis of Shiroe's dialogue techniques was great on the one hand, and Serara's kitty eared hat is adorable on the other.

Oh yes, I really enjoyed the ED as well! I can finally say that the new season has "begun" for me with this. Insta-followed. ^^

Ah Log Horizon, how I've missed thee.

As for Akatsuki and Minori rivalry, it's just that Akatsuki is bad at connecting with people, she wants to get close to Shirou and be helpful to him, but the fact that a 14 year old girl is better at it than she is, is something that she finds deeply depressing. She's also VERY bad at romance too which further twists in the knife. Sure Minori may not have much of an actual chance at starting a romance with Shirou but when Akatsuki feels that even Minori is ahead of her in that department hurts even more from the personal humiliation of it.

I look forward to exploring Akatsuki's character more this season. Kanami's design is a little odd but I can live with it. Reusing Database for the OP I think is more because it's just a good song and quite catchy, I have no objection to it and the ED was adorably cute.

I seriously need to stop listening to Database since if i keep this up i'll be sick of it before the show ends. It happened with S1 so it'll probably happen now.

That was a good re-introductory episode for the second season. However, it was somewhat confusing thanks to that ending. I am assuming that it's teasing something but I have no clue what it means, though.
Glad to see this series is back and glad to see that Database remains as the OP for Log Horizon. :3
Although there were some shots in the OP that worry me...

Nice cold opening, overview of the 3 overlapping storyarcs of Shiroe's raid in the North, Akatsuki in Akiba, and it seems Kanami's GO EAST! Gang.

New design's don't look so bad, Souji looks more mature hehehe. XD

They kept DATABASE - W00TZ!

I think William Massachusetts is going to be another fave character, An Archer no less. :3

I like how Minami and the RTC got a opposite side view of each other in the opening.

Anyway, looks like Shiroe is going to raid that dungeon that makes gold. 80T is going to be a crazy amount to get. I wonder what he'll use it for. O.O

Glad this show was backing and this episode did a good job reintroducing the characters while introducing new problems.

The problem with the "new" OP imho is that it tries to run the same sequence more or less, but with more people. As a result, it's not as synchronized as the S1's had been.

I don't mind if NHK wants to use DATABASE as the OP again, but seriously, put a bit more effort into making a new OP sequence

I'm back for another round of politics in MMOs. Solid episode, and it did look very spoilerish but I guess that's what they wanted to go for? still I'm glad the series is back and I wouldn't mind a bit more of action this time

I think she looked much better before, same goes for Naotsugu and Kaname (well in her case Deen can at least make excuse about new avatar).
