The line between love and hate can often be thin and blurry. Though they only seem to work well together when they have a common enemy you can point them at.

They are pretty good at working together in a crisis, but the problem comes when they have time to think about hating each other. I have to give them props for remaining consistent. It's fine to plan on how to deal with the card and Bazett, but let's make sure it doesn't get in the way of hating each other .

I wouldn't be surprised if they started Herz with that chapter, or used it for the last minisode for the 5th BD. Likely the former, since they will need to pad out the next season anyway and "reintroduce" everyone like they did this season.

You should have known that the extras chapters from the manga were made as OVA in the previous season, so will this season.

It sounds like you hate Shirou a lot. But your hate will not change them, you can't convince them not to do it. And it will make no sense if they don't show to anime viewers of how did they developed a crush on him from the first place.

I don't hate Shirou, I hate stupid things and that chapter was one. Is they crush important? No. Does the crush develop them? No, their development is already inexistent at this point and drooling after a dick isn't an improvement.
This is a comedy based on an eroge, and as the good comedy it is everything will be exaggerated as fuck, every girl and the guys with glasses and blue hair will fall for the dick, the upcoming beach episode is enough.

Edited: You really consider all the crush' bullshit actually necessary? Maybe I'm the crazy one thinking the opposite thing and that it doesn't contributes with anything to the story.

Finally finished this season.
Rin and Luvia...so close...so close...here I thought we would have a nice moment between them...
It's been a while since I've read the manga so I can't remember it all too well.

I have to say, though. The Bazett fight has been my favorite from this broadcasting season. I loved it.

Seeing the girls manage to get a win over Bazett, or as much of a win as they could ever hope to get, was pretty great. Lots of good effort, misdirection, surprise, and bluffing on their part culminated in getting Bazett to realize it would be a waste to continue fighting and put a halt to their conflict while she goes after the eighth card. The Starlog instrumental playing during the fight made it even better .

Bazett's secret weapon, Fragarach, is pretty powerful, able to rewind time to before an opponent used their strongest attack and then basically stab them in the heart. The only downside, from all appearances, looks to be she can only use it once so if the opponent somehow survived it she wouldn't be able to reuse the rock.

I wasn't expecting an eighth Class Card to turn up, and it's definitely going to be interesting to see which Servant ends up in it. Could it be Gilgamesh? The Holy Grail War never happened so it's likely he was never summoned, not to mention that the Class he represents, Archer, has been represented by his Fate/Stay Night counterpart in card form rather than him. Unless the Prism Illya universe has him as his own Class Card because...well, Gilgamesh .

I wonder what cards Bazett allowed them to keep as part of the truce? I could see Kuro counting as one, Saber is probably likely, and considering it's prominence in these two episodes, maybe Rider?

Guess it's to be expected that what seemed to be turning into a heartwarming moment between Rin and Luvia would be ruined by their distrust and despising of each other. They can work well together, and probably begrudgingly somewhat respect one another, but in the end they just can't stand each other. And they evidently couldn't even maintain their facade of growing friendship once Shirou entered the picture .

Nice to see the girls back into their, relatively, normal lives, especially Kuro who finally has a life, friends, and family of her own. Her final scene with Illya, and her little thank you, were definitely really nice to see .

The flashback of Miyu's reaction to the existence of an Eight Card was intriguing, if only because it seemed to shock her in a negative way compared to everyone else. Kuro seems to have a better idea of how Miyu fits into everything than anyone else, so I'm looking forward to seeing where that goes and what the truth about Miyu is .

Glad to see the confirmation for part II of Zwei!, and definitely looking forward to more Prism Illya though for now I'll be more than content with the upcoming Fate/Stay Night anime .

It was a side chapter in the manga. The crushes get referenced multiple times throughout the story. There's absolutely no harm in it being animated as one of the 5 minute BD specials.

It can't contribute any less to the story than the 2nd BD special that had Illya on Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

She had a large tube, though. I imagine it's full of those spheres, so she'd be able to probably use it another 4-5 times, based on the size of said tube. If not more.

In the manga, they outright showed they retained three physical cards, so Kuro doesn't count. That's what Rin was implying at the end I think, that they actually had 4 because they managed to keep Kuro alive.

The manga didn't show the specific cards yet, so I won't spoil it, but it should be revealed in Herz.

True, I didn't take into account how the size of Bazett's sphere would likely mean she has more than one stashed in the container she carries around. I wonder if the stones have a set recharge time or if she has to get more from a supplier? I don't think we saw her pick up the one she used, so I assume it's the latter.

I just took Rin's line to mean that it was the best win they could've hoped for mostly because Kuro managed to survive, though it could also mean that with her alive they also have 4 cards, which is more than Bazett if she's not able to get the eighth .

So they have three aside from Archer... Saber is probably one, possibly Rider for the reasons I've already stated, and Miyu is used to using Lancer so maybe they kept that as well? Unless that was the one card Bazett was completely unwilling to give up .
