Ah yes. Can't forget the lolis. But I imagine the likes of Nastia Liukin or Shawn Johnson are quite legal now.

I don't mind taking baseball off since now Korea is the eternal champion of Olympic baseball .

They had the right to be angry I suppose. And how can they screw up something so simple?

They are already legal to begin with 4 years ago. I'm talking about "Because I say so" kind of legal.

It will be great if there are more nations with Chinese ruthlessness in their quest for Olympic Gold as I get to see more of those girls prancing in tights on my HDTV.

Yup. Already, some controversy.

And I actually watched the game. Ugh, that was some ugly soccer, where the North Koreans won because Colombia couldn't do anything -- literally.

On that note, some US fans should fly the South Korean flag when the US team plays the North Koreans. XD

They probably are already berserk after that screw up.

This reminds me of Beijing 2008 where that earthquake child survivor held a Chinese flag that was backwards. It had 'Made in China' written all over it. kehehe.

I think only cable has it.

I've never understood why all the emphasis is on the athletics and swimming, when the gymnastics is far more interesting, with more avenues for expression, and being more then simply "look at me, I'm faster then you!".

Not that I have anything against Gymnastics. But...

Problem with Gymnastics: subjective rating. I.E. Judges. Granted, the judging system had never been as bad as... say... Figure Skating.

True, but at least it's more interesting to watch then 10 guys running in a straight line (I can see that at my local school's sports day...)

Athletics is always the major focus point in the Olympics, my dad said that.

Well, this Olympics I will focus on many sport events such as Athletics of course (including Marathon), Archery, Badminton, Cycling (Road & Track), Diving, Swimming, Triathlon blah blah blah...

I will also watch the Opening Ceremony even though it's early morning in my time zone.

The judging in figure skating has always been screwed up but well....the more artistic sports all have this weakness. Just have to deal with it I suppose...

Worth it for such graceful spectacles.

Thumbs up

This Olympics will be pretty epic for me, especially the Lochte-Phelps rivalry, also looking forward to track and field and soccer (already happening lol)

If you think deeper, Sports itself is not completely clean and fair to begin with. Doping incidents and corrupted practices are still common and being uncovered.

It's your choice if you really want to let them barred you from enjoying the performance of the people involved.

Japan's football team was really impressive against Spain; Kensuke Nagai especially stood out. The guy's tireless and holds up the ball really well.
