Actually! The first Volume has already come out! I already read, I have read the scanlations though, so it was not big deal to have it.

Haven't got my hands on the chapter yet but reading those spoilers, I would say that it fits the tone & atmosphere of the whole series very well.

Well done I would say. Just hoping volume 7 gets sold here soon...

Now all we gotta do is wait for Vol 8 to come out, read all the chapters instead of bits and pieces, and conclud the story =)

The ending made me nostalgic and felt empty. Oddly, since that effect is caused upon me only when I finished seeing anime that leave a mark in my mind.

Remembers Gunbuster, Mahoromatic, plus a few others...

Anyway, returning to the subject, there were a thing or two that confuse me about the ending...

[Manga] The Real Ending to Chrno Crusade

Daisuke Moriyama did it!

He added a conclusive epilogue after the end of Act 56 in Volume 8 of the manga.

It fully and visually narrates what became of each of the characters.

I know this because I saw these information on Vero-chan's site.

Check out the details to learn for yourselves that I'm not lying.

From Vero-chan's Astral Contract Webpage

well, that's the tankouben ending... however I heard some the Chrno Crusade fans saying that the tankouben ending is a bad addition to the manga and not what the author wanted... and that the original serialized manga ending is the best.

I think it's hard to say whether tankouben ending is better than anime ending or not... the last two pages posted up on that Vero-chan's Astral Contract Webpage is quite misleading too...
